Sargent Steeles is also the only adult in this entire episode who shows any real concern and compassion. He's stern, as he has to be in his job, but also gentle. He obviously didn't want to charge Lucy, he was dreading it. But he knew it had to be done. Having dealt with her before, I think he knew that her parents were never around. I think he had sympathy for her. Pretty good actor, one of the better ones to have portrayed cops on the show.

And he's very good in this role.

Spike is my favorite actress in Degrassi, I don't know why she isn't that famous in America, well ofcourse because their canadian but, she should make SO many more movies.
I grew up in a house like that. I used to call my grandmother and ask her to come over. Kids were so jealous of how my parents completely neglected us while they sat home surrounded by human beings.. their attitude drove me crazy..

I love the old Degrassi! I love these characters way more than anyone on DTNG. I was born in the 90s, but I wish I could have lived in the 80s. I even love the crazy fashion.
Yeah, outside of Caitlin and Steph(without the whore makeup), they aren't as attractive as the new cast. But they were far more real and interesting.
Degrassi will live on forever! Even though I don't like the new cast on DTNG. Oh there's also a series before Degrassi Junior High called Kids On Degrassi Street...it has Wheels, Alex, Caitlin, Suzie and a few others as little kids with different names though.

I grew up in a house like that. I used to call my grandmother and ask her to come over. Kids were so jealous of how my parents completely neglected us while they sat home surrounded by human beings.. their attitude drove me crazy..

there were 3 seasons of degrassi jr high and then it went on to degarssi high .dont know how many seasons it did but my library had all the dvds so i've seen every episode.the one episode i remember the most was where caitlin was at a sleep over and had an epileptic seizeire on the floor.suprised the have full episodes .great to see this after so many years back in the eighties.

My mom got them for me and let me wear them in private school for 7th grade, but changed her mind in 8th grade when I went to public school for some odd reason. I guess they were too wild for public school (in the states they are conservative unlike Degrassi in Canada). I was mad as Donald Duck!! Or maybe because the kids were snobs at public school and she didn't want me to be teased..IDK but it sucked cause I liked the heck outta them.

I love the old Degrassi! I love these characters way more than anyone on DTNG. I was born in the 90s, but I wish I could have lived in the 80s. I even love the crazy fashion.
Yeah, outside of Caitlin and Steph(without the whore makeup), they aren't as attractive as the new cast. But they were far more real and interesting.

Degrassi will live on forever! Even though I don't like the new cast on DTNG. Oh there's also a series before Degrassi Junior High called Kids On Degrassi Street...it has Wheels, Alex, Caitlin, Suzie and a few others as little kids with different names though.

@wwfls4 IMDB says "unknown" seasons for KODS. Degrassi Junior High had 3 seasons....right after DJH is Degrassi High. You can find all the episodes of KODS, DJH, and DH here on Youtube. Just Google the episodes and follow the list here on Youtube. :)
