  • @awreckingball LOL!!!!

  • WOOOO HOOOO

  • THE PEPPERIDGE FARM GUY IS JACKED!!!

  • Bravo Granny!!!

  • Epic beard man!

  • judging from the name (13andincrediblycut) (i know the comments old :P) i think he made the account, spammed comments like this on weight lifting vids and deleted the account before people asked him to prove it :\

  • Damn that's really good.

  • Mike Brown you rock!

  • i dont think in those small disks are 60 kg calculating the bar at 20 kg

  • @13andincrediblycut thats a good one cuz if that was true you probably would be a pro power lifter.

  • @13andincrediblycut What you're describing would be a world record. I'd like to see a video of you doing it. Power lifters don't do militaries, only bench press, squat, and deadlift. Mike

  • @dlaw70 your wrong powerlifters such as myself do milatary presses to help strengthen the shoulders for bench, you are right about powerlifters doing squat dead and bench though, but we do assitance work to help strengthen the big three

  • @dlaw70

this kid is on every lifting video claiming a 600 plus deadlift at 200lbs etc he is a troll, a little kid looking for attention of others...

  • @dlaw70 don't take this guy serious he made all these claims and then when he said he was going to put up videos he deleted his account

  • @dlaw70

he's a troll. has no life and goes on every lifting video and claims a bunch of crazy records.

  • @dlaw70 Ignore him coach, the guy "13andincrediblycut" is a know troll here, he's on every video spamming.. just like "steroidsr4losers"

  • @dlaw70 dont be silly hes just a troll, probably not even a kid, i bet its some pedophile with nothing better to do

  • @dlaw70 I tried to contact them but (This channel is no longer available because the user closed their account.) I call BS !!! 350lb does sound might fine though ;)

  • @dlaw70

I am 5 (or I will be in 6 months) and I can military press a bench press machine. Am I doing it wrong?

  • @13andincrediblycut i just shoulder pressed 2 elephants 1 on each side and i'm only 11 if you don't believe me you can ask your mom she was on one of the side hahaha

  • @13andincrediblycut well....I'm only 12, dope-free and I can manage to max out with a 450il military-press for 5 solid, acceptable reps with perfect form and full-depth with lock outs!

  • @13andincrediblycut HAHAHAHAH shut the fuck up you idiot

  • @13andincrediblycut you are such a fag man. i bet you're a scrawny little bitch who's never spent an hour training in your life.

  • @13andincrediblycut Umm no, you don't.

  • @13andincrediblycut i am an unborn foetus and i can max out a 1000 lb military press for 50 reps.....beat that now kid. I bet you're just a keyboard lifter son.

  • @13andincrediblycut 350lbs? ha that is impossible for a 13 year old heck your not even old enough to be in most gyms at that age.

  • @13andincrediblycut I can lift 700lbs with my penis while doing kegals

  • @13andincrediblycut you are 13 and full of shit.

  • @13andincrediblycut LOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • YO are at Montreal's Energie Cardio!?? I GO THERE TOO!

  • Holy crap, thats impressive!

  • thats a push press, not a military press. nice lift either way.

  • man u r awesome !!!

  • i do 110 about 60 times but idk if i could do 180 pounds even once or twice

  • @Gorillazunleashed lol sure you do...

  • Holy shit i wanna be able to still do that at that age

  • santa clause on roids jk lol

  • wow nice! is Mike straight?

  • hell yeah!

  • 65!

    81kg!!

    Standing!!!

Lol, i cant even do 60. Probably because i dont use this type of training. Perhaps i should start sometime.

  • @hazza3 Now would be a good time. Have you read Diagnostic Bodybuilding?

Subtitle: If you are not making progress, you are doing something wrong

or there is something wrong with you. Mike

  • @dlaw70 I dont usually lift weights. Im in kick boxing so our main weights are 18oz gloves for 2-4 hours.

I can do 50kg standing, well barely. I can bench 81kg(which sucks for me because Benching was easy for me years ago) and i can squat 110kg which is alright in my book i mean its 20kg heavier than me.

I dont plan on bodybuilding anytime but the training i will do.

  • lol here is this old man again showing everybody up on youtube.

Keep it up! I am doing around 115lbs standing press atm.

  • my gym is fcuking retarded. I go to 24 hr fitness and this happens to be the only machine where they put it directly under a ceiling pipe so you can't push the barbell up or else you'd hit the pipe

  • @GunDream I have the same problem - I'm 6'4" and can't do standing presses of any kind because the only place to do them is inside a power rack which has a....'roof', for lack of a better word (what the fuck were they thinking - that it might rain during a workout??!!). When I extend my arms fully with a bar + plates it hits the 'Roof''.

  • you forgot the 1/2 an ounce... there was a fly on the bar... :)

  • doesn't look like 80kg's but good work old man :D

  • 1 45-lb bar = 20.46

    2 x 45-lb plates = 40.91

    2 x 10-lb plates = 9.09

    2 x 5-lb plates = 4.55

    2 x 2.5-lb plates = 2.27

    2 x 2.5 lb sticking point smashers = 2.27

Lead shot in smashers = 1.59

    Total 81.14 Kgs

  • Damn nice still :)

  • I want to be at least as fit and as strong as him when i'm 65.

  • "You think you're better than me?" ...

    "It's go time!"

  • damn man strong ass 65 yr old haha

  • hey Doc is that you?

    man you're strong!

  • no way that was 81.14 kgs

  • I hope to be as fit as this guy when I'm his age!

  • what the hell!! that is very impressive!! what was youre all time best shoulder press, at your prime!!! great owrk, i can only do 60kg once!! but i been trianing for 4 months only, i hope to be able to do 100kg shoulder press for a good few reps, and bench double my bodyweight for a nice set of 8. and chinup with 80 percent of my bodyweight hanging off me. these are all my goals.

  • he's moving the knees!!

  • I can only do about 40kg lol that is only half.

  • me too :-)

  • 5 stars from me!

  • You go grandpa!, hella strong!

  • I think your elbows should be much closer together! They should follow the line of your schoulders, like you would do headcrushers for triceps of close gripped bench press for triceps...

Could be another press that i'm talking about...

But if you would do as I say you could lift 10 kg more in a few trainings, maybe even more...

  • I'm afraid the results would be more like 10 kgs less. Instead of using the larger muscles of the chest and back for the lift most of (if not all) the load would fall on the triceps. Mike

  • @dlaw70 hey can i ask! :) ok i do my presses with my hands in line with my shoulders...so what your saying is it works your triceps more(which i dont want) so if i go wider will it work my shoulders more aswell as the back like you said...and also how much wider..cause it feels kinda uncomfortable...and btw impressive im embarressed i do 60kg!

  • @spartan1893 Use the form shown in the video, forearms perpendicular to the floor. Foot spacing is also important. Do you have a copy of Diagnostic Bodybuilding? It goes into detail on form on the major exercises. Mike

  • @dlaw70 hey its your book nicee...where can i get it if i live in sydney australia?

  • @spartan1893 you can get it by searching for "Diagnostic Bodybuilding" but going to Australia costs an extra $15.00 for shipping ($15.00 covers orders up to $60.00).

  • great lifting ! I've noticed a lot of younger guys [I'm 48] dont do this lift, they do seated with back support presses only. 25-30 years ago we all did standing presses. By the way,I really don't think it's possible that an athlete doesn't know what a clean is-power cleans are an important component of any strength and conditioning program. Too bad you had to waste so much time arguing with that idiot. Stay strong

  • Thanks.

  • i did once train this standing( i am 18) and i have thought about start training it again, but seated just like all the young people do as you say:) and the reason is simple because you really easy bend you back backwards while training this, and i just dont wanna risk to get my back destroyed. i just dont feel right training this standing.

  • yes that's right

  • well done old man !!!!

  • i think those are called push press but what do i know

  • It's only a push press if you push with your legs. Sloppy military, perhaps. Mike

  • You did a fabulous lift for sure (obviously, your strength is in your silver hair), but that music kind of stole your thunder.

  • should be in a home lol

  • hey everyone can you guys help me out here?

When i do the military press i encounter several problems. But first i have a question about the form.

Are my elbows suppose to form a sttraight line when it goes up? Or are they allowed to slightly curve outwards before reaching the top? I always feel a greater burn on my right side of the body. It's becoming noticable that the left isn't gaining any mass at all.

  • The angle of your arms doing militaries depends on your hand spacing. There are more than one correct way to do it.

As for the burn on one side and lack of growth on the other, I would suspect spinal misalignment. You might want to consider ordering a copy of my book Diagnostic Bodybuilding in order to have the info necessary to figure out your problem(s). Mike

  • yah and he might want to consider seeing a doctor, as opposed to an author

  • Wheres the video response from the faker Fosschr

  • now we know how santa burns off all them chocolate chip cookies biaatcch

  • Nice work mate. Great stuff.

  • Inspiring stuff!

  • Nice. This will be me one day. I refuse to be a fat, sick slob when I'm older.

  • That's good, hope I can do that when i'm 65

  • There are a lot of little kids on youtube who pretend to be badasses. Sometimes it's funny, and other times it's just embarassing. In Fosschr's case, it's just pathetic! Claims he lifts, yet doesn't even know what the clean part of a movement is. I'd like to hear his definition of a hang clean. That would be an entertaining one to hear him explain.

  • It's crazy to see a 65 yr old man do this... I'm embarrassed!

    *Goes to gym.*

  • Awesome and inspiring to see a guy your age doing this stuff. Keep it up!

  • this is pretty good, and i like how the meathead arguing with the poster shows how stupid he is repeatedly. maybe if you got your head out of your ass and learned to spell and read you would realize you're wrong, of course it would also probably help if your favorite youtube videos weren't those of two homosexual puppets.....probably a latent homosexual yourself.....

  • Nice press.

    Amusing comments by the e-warriors.

  • that doesn't even look like 178lb's wtf, looks like 10 kg's

  • 1 45-lb bar = 45

    2 x 45-lb plates = 90

    2 x 10-lb plates = 20

    2 x 5-lb plates = 10

    2 x 2.5-lb plates = 5

    2 x 2.5 lb sticking point smashers = 5

Lead shot in smashers = 3.5

    _____

    Total 178.5 lbs.

  • Evidently the users of Kgs cannot convert:

    1 45-lb bar = 20.46

    2 x 45-lb plates = 40.91

    2 x 10-lb plates = 9.09

    2 x 5-lb plates = 4.55

    2 x 2.5-lb plates = 2.27

    2 x 2.5 lb sticking point smashers = 2.27

Lead shot in smashers = 1.59

  • Chill, I'm user of kgs too.

Gd job by the old timer.

  • First off, I was a division one football player and can lift twice as much as you 350 bench,565 squat and 585 deadlift.(225 military press seated behind head no leg jerk) I have read more muscle info than you have. Believe me. Like I said, Go to Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia where the lift is defined. The clean and jerk is what you are talking about. Floor to shoulders is jerk. While the press up is the clean. You are making an ass out ofyourself. Typical old guy hard head.

  • OK, I get it. You're some idiot who likes to make himself feel important by spouting nonsense.

  • If all you can do is a 350 bench, that's pathetic for a division one football player. You have the clean and the jerk backwards.

  • Are you a retard. I was a defensiveback and that is a very respectable bench. 225@15 at the combine is fantastic. Just reconfirms what a nmoron you are. You know nothing about training. Can you not read-the definition of a military press is anterior(rear delts). Its in black and whit. I am not contesting you put up that weight. Yeah, Ok for someone in a nursing home. But, Big Deal.

  • Just as I thought, you can't send us a video of yourself doing anything because you're a 24 carat phony. I suspect in real life you're a wimp with 11" arms. Mike

  • What a fag. I said I would and I will. Catering to an old goat that thinks he's a powerlifter is not a priority. I am a busy guy but I'll get to it this week meantime quit bothering me I have better things to do.

  • Quit bothering you??? You're the one who started this food fight. Be sure you put your video on YouTube so everyone else can see it too. Like I said, a 24 carat phony with 11" arms. Mike

  • LoL, I see that U're busy with sesame street. It's almost a month.

    Still 0 upload.

  • Don't be stupid. Who has 11' arms except a girl. The average man's forearms are bigger than that for Christ's sake. Like I said. Lets not bicker until I post my vid. But, when I do I hope you are man enough to concede.

  • When you post it? Oh, please. Mike

  • How the hell was I supposed to do it on the 4th of July weekend? Plus I don't own a digi cam. I will find a friend to help me do the filming and show me how to put a vid up. I have never done it before.

  • still waiting for this video

  • Again, don't take my word for it, go to someone who actually coaches Olympic lifts. I did, I was raised in Hawaii, one of the men who coached me was Tommy Kono (who at the time was a world champion). Suggestion: send me a photo of yourself doing the lifts you claim. If you don't, I can only assume you are a 24-carat phony, in which case I'm done wasting time on you. Mike

  • Floor to shoulders is the clean, shoulders to overhead is the jerk.

  • When are people going to learn that a military press is behind the head. But it will hurt my shoulders?...... Quit being a pussy and do the lifts right.

  • it can go both ways... just like you. faggot

  • What you're referring to is the "press behind neck," which is NOT a military press. If you want to see a proper military press, look at photos of the military press as done n the Olympics before the Russians started using excessive back bends and it was discontinued as one of the three Olympic lifts. Mike

  • Wrong, this is a partial clean. The definition of a military press is behind head pressed straight up to isolate shoulders from pecs and tricep assistance.

  • Repeating the same mistake over and over doesn't make it correct. Don't take my word for what a military press is, check with the people who publish the weightlifting magazines (you might even try reading a couple of them).. A clean is how you get the weight from the floor to your shoulders.

  • Military press is in front. And yes behind the neck can and will hurt your shoulders badly.

  • Do you still insist a military press is BEHIND the head? If so, have you corrected the 1000+ people doing the military press to the clavicle (the correct way)? Dianne

  • Wow that really is decieving it doesnt look like your lifting barely any weight.

  • ahhhh!

where is the background girl at?

  • awesome! i hope to be as fit as you and as dedicated when i'm your age! may you live a long and healthy life. PEACE!

  • Everyone is focused on age but that's a great lift for anyone. I'm more impressed with that weight setup. It's quite different then what's at the gyms around me. Very interesting.

  • Haha well done, still using good technique at the better part of 70. Impressive.

  • that's world class for a 65 year old.

  • This just doesn't look like 178 pounds...wtf...

  • This was explained in a comment below, but here it is again.

    1 45-lb bar = 45

    2 x 45-lb plates = 90

    2 x 10-lb plates = 20

    2 x 5-lb plates = 10

    2 x 2.5-lb plates = 5

    2 x 2.5 lb sticking point smashers = 5

Lead shot in smashers = 3.5

    _____

    Total 178.5 lbs.

  • Impressive for anyone , especialy for 65 years.Btw, what is a sticking point smasher?

  • They are the red cylinders on the bar, weigh about 2.5 lbs each and open for lead balls to be added to increase the weight in small increments.

  • thats a real beast!!

  • That's awesome...I can at most do 200, but I'm 19, a slight age difference...keep up the good work, I have major respect for those that are "older" but still stay in great shape. If you can do that I don't consider you "old" at all, that's more than what most of my friends can do!

  • I'm 45 and I can only push jerk that amount. Please can you post yourself doing 200. I would love to see it!!!!

  • nice!

  • i can only hope to be that strong when im your age

  • thats impressive...for anyone...really impressed.

  • That's impressive for someone young, but for a 65 year old, my hat's off to you sir!

  • thats amazing for your age, whats your max bench ??

  • Best I've ever done, 375, can't do it now, maybe 315 if I'm lucky.

  • I always seem to have back pain after doing a standing military press.

  • You need to be more specific. What part of the back? One side or both sides?

  • Spinal column, upper lumbar or lower thoracic.

  • Both sides.

I'm sure it's do to crappy form, my delts were exhausted from the bench press and close-grip bench press and I used too much weight, so I leaned back arching my back to force the weight up to do a cheat rep.

I'm just going to stick to light dumbbells and do an alternating shoulder press.

  • It might be something as simple as contracted muscle tissue that hasn't released. If you have a copy of my book, Diagnostic Bodybuilding, go to the chapter on muscle stripping. If that doesn't do it, I suspect you need a chiropractor.

  • same thats why i dont really do them

  • Damn! Hope I can do that I'm that age.

  • lol! 175 lbs my arse. morelike 100 max! lmao

  • If you can't add, let me do it for you.

    1 45-lb bar = 45

    2 x 45-lb plates = 90

    2 x 10-lb plates = 20

    2 x 5-lb plates = 10

    2 x 2.5-lb plates = 5

    2 x 2.5 lb sticking point smashers = 5

Lead shot in smashers = 3.5

    _____

    Total 178.5 lbs.

  • Sticking point smashers? what are they?....are they the red things on the barbell sleeves?

  • Yes, they hold lead shot, washers, or coins.

  • If you do a web search for them, you can read why Mike uses them.

  • for an old man he is one bad sumbitch

  • muy bien!!! very good work!!!

  • awesome, especially for your age, i cant do that at 17 years old.

  • Very good job. Great lifting

  • wth wow

  • Great lifting...i hope i can lift a fraction of that when i'm your age.5 stars!
