I'm am ex Dj, hence the screen name, and have been a fan of The Cure from the get go; but... in my opinion THIS is the way it was meant to sound. Filled with restrained passionate tension. This is the quintessential version of this song. I am, by no means, detracting from The Cures' version or their abilities as musicians but, even they would back me p by saying; Yes, this is how it was meant to sound.

@Elentari1975 It's not from a CD--I believe it's from a Spin or Rolling Stone story on Strange Little Girls from 2001--the reason there are multiples of her is because of her taking on multiple female voices on the album. Hope that helps.

The Cure are my favorite band.... they have been for a very very long time.

....but from the first time I heard this version of Lovesong I loved it, everything about it is perfect.

Other recordings of Tori singing this are no where near as good....in fact some of them are really terrible.

Amusingly it depends what mood I'm in as to which i like best :)
