When I saw the Prix De Diane at Chantilly, I thought that Golden Lilac looked the best 3yr.old filly in France this year. But since the Diane was run, I tend to reverse myself and say that Galikova looks even more progressive to me than Golden Lilac does. As she showed by reversing the Diane form to easily beat Golden Lilac at Deauville. Not question about it. With the weight allowance she'll get for being a 3yr.old filly, Galikova must be respected in this year's Arc field. TJMO.
@kelletman, Completely agree!! I've heard Freddie Head make a couple of comments, just in jest, that he's hopeful that Galikova will become his next "Goldikova" once the great mare is retired!! Wishful thinking on his part, I think? LOL. Because a Goldikova only comes along once in a lifetime. But still, Galikova's a very talented filly in her own right, and looks to be the type that could have a very successful career, IMO.
Galikova is my pick for the L'ARC, but they will have to bring their A games to beat the great So You Think :)

She ran well in the French Derby, took a while to get going but was running on strongest of all in the end to get 2nd.
