  • I have gone from a drive through diet to a diet consisting of at least 50% of my intake being fresh, raw fruit and vegetable juice with emphasis mainly on the less sweet items. After 2 weeks of this, I find that I am not craving all the garbage I had been and I am indifferent to cigarettes, which I used to STILL crave despite having quit nearly 10 years ago. I have also lost 10 pounds.

  • @LadyWeasel I also have a better overall attitude and I don't even need coffee.

  • I believe that my comment was marked as spam, but if including my blog and spreading the news about harmful artificial dyes is spam I am sorry. :(

  • people should know that food additives do not just cause behavior problems, some of these additives like certain red dyes are known to cause cancer in children :(

  • my sister changed her diet and avoided sugars/preservatives and she used to struggle with ADHD but now she doesn't even need medicine for it. Weird thing? her doctor STILL tells her to buy more pills...and its been three years...

Remember people, that this is a billion, not a million, dollar industry. There WILL be people on the top who wants more and more, and who will design you into buying more.. don't be naive, don't believe every word I say, just do research for gods sake.

  • safe to say that woman' got a big fat target painted on her head.

  • I wish that they would carry out this experiment where I work...

  • coffe milk and meat is all u need to be happy;)

  • For the last five years I have been changing.. At 47 I eat only natural food, no caffeine, very little sugar (natural only). ADHD and bipolar I need no medicine, but lots of aerobic exercise.

I will say that America needs to learn. Drugs are NOT the answer...

  • how long till this type of thing happens in the US? The government always tells us to eat healthy, well take out the additives!

  • Great 5 min vid about a study in Australia, where a group of kids were taken off all additives for two weeks, and the difference in their health and behaviour!

  • inGREEDients Movie is a great way to learn in 60 min about the dangerous chemical food additives in our food supply.

  • wonder if they include Aspartame and flouride. oh well soon we wont be able to eat well, research codex alimentairios

  • This video makes me subtly angry for some reason...

  • When you go grocery shopping read the ingredient list.If the word spices are listed then those ingredients are in their.Congress has passed laws that allow chemicals to be listed as spices. The only way to avoid this completely is to eat 100% organic.

  • The food companies are knowingly purposely putting ingredients in foods and drinks to increase appetite, get us physically addicted and make us fatter. With the food industry it's all about the money and the FDA and congress have passed laws allowing this.

  • I KNOW! It's so freakin frustrating! AND organic foods are expensive. The prices are starting to go down now, thank goodness, but before it was very very hard to go shopping for less expensive organics. Since they are being supported more, the organic farmers and food companies can sell at a lower price.

  • most of the people that I know complain that organic food is expensive.. Well, yeah.. These are the people who drive new expensive cars, buying fancy cloths, have 20 unnecessary shoes, eating out all the time, wearing expensive toxic perfumes and complaining that organic is expensive. I wear simple white T-shirts, dont have 20 pairs of shoes and driving a small car, have zero debt, everything I have I own. I eat 100% organic and make my own food everyday from scratch. An I crazy?

    -))

  • Well rich people complain because they are used to getting things their way all the time, so of course they will complain about the prices of something they can afford. I don't think you're crazy for all you have said. How is that crazy? I think that's great. I am grateful for all I have. I have owned some of my clothes for more than 10 years b/c I don't have money to spend on more. I have few new clothes. I don't buy name brand. I don't care about name brand. How can I?

  • I own shoes for what I need. A few holed-up sneakers, a few dress shoes for job interviews or get-togethers, and a few old sandals (flip-flops). I have one friend who eats organic everyday. The only thing they go to the market for is meat, milk, soap, and such things. Besides that they eat their own veggies, fruits, pizza, cake and anything else they can think to make. I think it's wonderful.

  • oh great now they tell me after Ive been getting fucked over my whole life.. which led me to not do good in school and instead of ending up in university I work at wal mart...

  • i agree with you, i now know how it feels huhh... like crap...

  • Great video! I know from my own experience from eating raw, whole fruits and veggies that my depression and lack of focus have completely disappeared and I went from taking my asthma inhaler EVERY SINGLE DAY to maybe once every few months. Let thy food be thy medicine and thy medicine thy food.

  • really? ohh.. i would defenelly try it. THANKYOU.

  • This is why we follow the Feingold Program in our family. I am so thankful for this non-profit that helps us to eliminate artificial colors, flavors, BHA, BHT, TBHQ & aspartame & other additives. Reading product labels on your own is unreliable.

  • Cooperative Grocers across the United States have purchasing policies in place that limit the exposure to these types of "ingredients" to our shoppers. Our co-op has a very strict purchasing policy, I feel safe shopping with my 6 year old in our store

  • My 13 year old stepdaughter was on Adderall for ADD, and was able to discontinue her meds after our family adopted a whole foods diet free of these awful additives! Unbelievable!!!! It is criminal what these food manufacturers are doing to our health.

  • Exactly..Good for you!! This video does not surprise me at all.. Want to grow up and be a lawyer or doctor? First and foremost EAT well, the learning part will simply come NATURALLY... Choose to ignore the eating part will lead to struggles with learning, and worse... a learning disability which may or may not become permanent!

  • pathetic. The food industry is one of the greatest evils. We must stop them first and then proceed to bigger things.
