the thing that always baffled me about the tune "black market" was the fact that Zawinul played a regular keyboard with his left hand and a "backwards" keyboard with his right. in other words the notes of the right hand keyboard are ascending from left to right. amazing!
I have them all except the last one, there are some stand out tracks on Procession, Domino Theory, and Sportin Life but there are also some of the cheesiest, in my opinion, WP tunes in their history.
Plus the FM keyboard sounds were just coming in so it really dates some of the stuff compared to the earlier work, then again maybe someone would say the same about the analog synth stuff on the 70's releases?
What is the name of the intro???

don't know, but it certainly was not Ronnie Scotts, that place is (was?) tiny in comparison to this venue.

Does Victor Bailey play well on those albums? (He does, hopefully, cause I really like him).

Yeah I think of all the Jaco replacements though Victor Bailey is definately my favorite. And definately one of the best players alive today.

A very good performance, I'm truely a WR fan and really miss Jaco. I wish these concerts were available on DVD.

there's a 1976 DVD of Weather Report at the Montreaux Jazz Festival with Jaco, manolo, and Alex Acuna...and of course Zawinul + Shorter
