well, I guess selling a few more expensive mathematica licenses doesn't work on the longer run.

anyway the hype will be over soon, and currently, the only thing that makes sense is that they get bought by google.

...haha. Bought by google my ass. This isn't a medium sized company that would sell this to google. And what hype? There is no hype, the hype was created by idiots comparing wolfram|Alpha to google. This thing will grow and it will be used more and more.

Mathematica sales etc. such as they are doing already. This website is not intended for monetization, trust me, mathematica is big enough to pay for everything. Besides, I am sure they get a lot of offers to develop systems for -amongst other- government use.
