Having twin four year olds myself, I'm quite accustomed to crushing the dreams of four year olds. Not being able to go because its pouring rains and thundering doesn't crush they're dreams. A 4 year old can understand that the weather isn't cooperating. Now, telling her that the storm has completely destroyed the park forever, that may crush some dreams there.

I know this is encouraging the wrong thing here, but one of my favorite memories was my mom taking us to Disney World during a massive rainstorm. The sun was hidden behind the clouds and there were absolutely no lines at all. Awesome. However, we stayed soaked, and they eventually closed the park.
