I love your voice, but I don't think this was the right song for you. This is more of a somber song...your voice seems like it has more of a happy base to it.

Love your voice. However, the only thing I don't like is that this isn't your type of song. Not saying you're a bad singer or anything. But I have a friend who teaches people how to sing, and we think that you're not the type to sing a dark song like this. It's about heart break, sadness, and feeling unworthy of yourself. All we heard was happiness. I'm sorry, but Evanescence songs need a lot more feeling than that. But we still love your singing.

@agentwisconson actually, amy said herself in an interview that this was one of the first "happy" songs that she's written. Not trying to start anything, but if it sounds happy, that's probably why! :)

This is honestly the best cover I've heard on here. I suffered from the "this is not amy" syndrome as well, but it really is quite good. I think what the other person is referring to is that when you're in the lower range of your voice you have a nice round, warm sound like Amy but (and especially in the second verse) when you got higher it got REALLY bright sounding, and I think if you warmed it up a little more it would be absolutely beautiful. :)

First time i played this is suffered from "This is not Amy" syndrome too and nearly gave up on it but i'm so glad i gave it another chance! This is a really lovely vocal performance which gets better both as you get further into the song and with each listen. Nice one. Five stars :-) ***** Great patience too with people who are so confused about keys that they must spend an awful long time sad and disorientated on their doorsteps :-P

It's exactly wat i was talking about.

Going from smooth to sharp and back to sharp from smooth, changing the voice tone itself. is called changing the key.

U know, it means key notes (e.g she has a good vibrato that goes high & smooth not sharp and loud notes) if u replace notes with keys it will give same meaning.

What I was taught is that changing key means changing the key signature. Good Enough begins in A flat and changes to E flat during the song, and I'm singing the same notes as Amy.

I think I see what you mean, however, the tonality. I tried my best to keep the tone in the same placement troughout the song, but if I brightened the sound (maybe that's what you mean by sharpen?) I'll attempt to keep it similar throughout the piece.
