  • I lived a similar life like frank and I understand his father why he tried so hard

to help his family but at the end he just gave up hard and no I don't judge his father I understand him because its shame and it wosnt that he gave up simply you have to know his personal fillings and no support but always looked apon as a bad father . I

hope these family found peace at the end

  • No.

Frank might be dead on Earth, but in our Minds he will always stay alive.

Remember what once was say'd to him:

    You might be poor,

    your Shoes might be broken,

    but your Mind,

    your Mind is a Palace.

    ...

And, by the Way, This Soundtrack is soo beautiful *.*

  • Unfortunately one of John Williams' more underrated soundtracks.

  • @HardyRStudios Definately. For me, it's one of his top 10.

  • Frank, you are my hero and idol. You've written the best books i've ever read. May your sould forever rest in peace.

  • He passed in July 2009

  • Rest In Peace Frank. You've been an inspiration to me very deeply indeed.

  • my mom grew up in limerick the same time as frank, its all true, the poverty, the suffering, everthing. my cousin is related by marriage to the mc courts/sheehans of limerick(luimneach). a sad day indeed when he passed

  • @GayGeisha July 19th 2009

  • who is the oboist? or the orchestra?? i want to know!!

  • @coga88 Oboist: John Ellis. The orchestra seems to be made up of contracted musicians, primarily LA-based.

  • Hi, my friend! Could you probably post all the other pieces of John Williams' "Angela's Ashes", too? I watched the movie but can't listen to the CD because it's just not available anymore. If you could do that i would be quite happy. Have a great day! Thanks for uploading all this great music.

  • What the fuck are you talking about?!

  • John Williams - you are the best ever!

  • Great movie set in Limerick, the most holy & rainy Catholic. Sweet-voiced & wet Film for Hollywood at the end of the last century: full of intensity and narrative cohesion. It takes away from realism and moralism: no one is judged. Excellent direction & cinematography in gray-green and music.
