We have school shootings, child sex offenders (children who molest other children), and inner city children growing up with no fathers but plenty of "uncles" (who sometimes abuse the children). Even 30 years ago, movies (Pretty Baby and Taxi Driver) cast pre-teen girls as prostitutes. 1 in 4 girls is raped or sexually abused by adulthood. Abortion is accepted, but executing child rapists is considered cruel punishment. Something has gone seriously wrong in the past 50 years.

The sad thing is that those statistics are reflected in the % of people I know personally who were sexually abused as children. So it's not paranoia or propaganda.
