Most conventional spacecraft use vernier thrusters to reorient themselves, but limbs allow for a method of thrustless reorientation called Active Mass Balance Auto-Control (AMBAC) which involves reorientation by the swinging of the limbs. So instead of wasting propellant to turn and roll, it can simply turn by swinging it's arms to the side or pitching up/down by swinging it's legs forwards and back.

and yeah... it's a nice mode, although I don't like very much those robots... they are ok but... somehow it doesn't feel right to see robots with legs, arms and shields to fight cruisers, destroyers... or whatever they are fighting.

Those "Robots" as you put it are the main focus of the Gundam Universe. They are something like Advanced Mobile Weapons Systems that conorperate a Fighter's agility with potentially, a Destroyer's firepower (In reference the the orignial Gundam Beam Rifle output). But if you don't like it, don't bother with the mod, I hear the BS Galactica mod is nice as well.

Rant aside, the mod itself looks very well done.

I kinnda get the suit-fight-better-than-ships idea. In 1 giantic ship you have such a big **s target for everyone to hit. Imagine how difficult to hit those robots with the ships' big guns, its like you trying to hit 10 Mosquitoes with a BB gun.

Also, How big of a crew are required to run a ship? But it takes only 1 person to pilot a robot.

well to be technical your doing something wrong if your trying to directly hit the "mosquitoes" what you should be doing is sending out guided missiles, which have numerous ways of tracking. You could also use flak to take em down, because its basically a grenade going off, except it would still work in a vacuum (such as space). I personnal like the mech concept, but one has to use different logic to justify it. (the universe these are from actually has a good one)

In all seriousness, if they could have build a suit like that, it would have been much more efficient to incorporate that type of material and technology into capital ships. The size of the suits also bugs me.

I think the suites should be expensive but very powerful...soo it be like the actual cartoon ..ok perhaps the zekus have cheaper suites but arent as strong that be pretty good..Soo the good guys hard to knock out but bloody expensive I MEAN BLOODY EXPENSIVE!!

It would be a much better investment to invest in building many more smaller ones. An armor piercing artillery shell fired into one of those joints would be enough to take one out. You don't even need to see them, artillery wouldn't have a problem hitting one of those giants from tens of hundreds of kilometers away from view.

i was messing around with this the other day in the game files and my friend showed me how to set it so that when you play as the regular story of the game as the Higarans, he put in 1 RX-70 and 2 of the Guncannons in the first level (and since all ships that survive 1 battle go on to the next) and with those 3 units made it to the 5th lvl, id be farther but im stopping to comment how epically more powerful the Gundams are compared to the Vaygar or the Higarans

well wing did have mass production but i see your point, but for the gundam wing for example, you could use the story of the show to make the game, and put in a thing like in some of the starcraft levels(this game is so much better then starcraft tho) where they give you a set number of units and you have to do special objectives, trhey could do something like that and give you the 5 gundams or something
