  • name the the hood says it all typical truck driving school grad and his junkliner

  • Well, we can see that the fifth wheel release lever was still operational. Thank God the $14,000 trailer was unharmed.

  • The little engine who could, finally ! XD

  • Like a good neighbor, State Farm is their.

  • Go GREEN With ABILENE...

  • Damn world you scary

  • I think that passenger side mirror is a total loss.

  • bitch got in my way

  • theres a lession here truck totaled train bent catwalk hmmmm steer clear of train tracks

  • Duck tape and gorilla glue will fix that

  • Probably the driver got out

  • that WAS a nice coronado!

  • You notice a lot of dry van drivers seem to be making the stupid driver catigory.

  • +=

  • Poor Freightliner...a shame is driver was a idiot.

  • who the heck still thinks they can beat the train?

  • 1:45 Who the fuck is laughing?

  • @AsianPerson3 some heartless bitch?

  • The train's like, "Look what I got!"

  • Trains are the Caption Falcon of the vheicle world, nothing can beat their Train Punch

  • my bestfriends mother was ran over by a train... she was siting on the tracks drunk!

  • Don't fuck with trains!!

  • TRUCK WITH DOWN SYNDROME!

  • A truck beating a train is like a teenager beating Kimbo Slice; it just won't happen

  • how come the train didnt have a scratch

  • This collision could have been much worse. Looks like the train wasn't moving very fast.

The truck's trailer is still attached, even came along for the ride :)

  • That's exactly why stick shifts are not supposed to stop or shift at railroad tracks.

  • thats only a scratchs, any body shop around town will put that out in 5 min lol

  • A minor setback...

  • youd think the rails on the train would be in much serious condition.

  • You'd think the train would get a dent from that, but nothing. Hmh. That's weird...

  • @tannalv

Not at all. Train always wins - and that includes rarely getting much damage. People don't respect trains for the gigantic monsters they are. Trucks are little gnats, but people mistakenly think THEY are the giants.

Of course, this train could've also been traveling "slowly" - if really in Cleveland itself, and being freight, reducing the chance of any damage to the engine.

  • the trailer looks ok

  • Awww c'mon, just throw some duct tape on it, it will buff rght out.

  • look like it was a nice tuuck at one time

  • PWND

  • Why do people seem so much more likely to stall on railroad tracks?

  • omg did someone die in the green truck

  • train looks fine to me, whats the problem?

  • thank god the truck didnt blew up and that be a mess to clean up

  • wow! impresive video 2 thumbs up i got couple of videos of close calls on railroad tracks

  • Another good reason to take freight off the roads and put in on the rails where it belongs.

  • @nzmedic why and put millions out of a job ? not everywere has a frickin rail yard running to it

  • @countrymusicgtavboy2

I'm not suggesting to take ALL trucks off the roads. The idea is to use rail where you can, and trucks where the rails don't go to.

  • that train wasnt goin that fast . crunch!!!

  • nothing a bit of steel cant fix. and a few thousand dollars.

  • A little super glue and duct tape can fix that

  • so..who won? :)))

  • a train can only go left to right or right to left. It's not hard to understand it won't stop for you if you're STUPID or IMPATIENT. I have a line in my town that's very seldom used and to this day I still stop and check and I always watch for car build-up at the stop light so I'm not stuck over a track. Garunteed if that school bus driver did just that in Illnois years ago those kids would still be alive.

  • duct tape can fix that......lol

  • no excuses for this accident

  • @Manongjojo read description. engine stalled and failed to start

  • Train = WIN! Truck = YOUR SHIP ASPLODED :(

  • yes he OK but truk dead

  • the train that hit this truck was a es40-dc

  • lol... love the woman laughing in the background

  • I like truck and trains but trucks are cheap they dont make them like they use to

  • that is one BIG train~!

  • @angelgirl7473 looks like a pretty normal size train to me lol

  • @lolkinsedd i ment seeing the ppl standing next to It..

  • those trucks are plastic on the fronts anyway so it can be fixed.

  • Nothing that my friends autobody shop can't fix in a few hours

  • So, did the train driver have a spat or chat or coffee with the poor trucker ?

  • Thank god it was hit on the passenger side!!

  • only a ship can beat a train

  • Will the engine start now?

  • @Rtchugg LOL good question pal.

  • nothing beats a train.

  • FAIL !

  • who's the wicked witch laughing on this video, she sounds like she needs to get on her broom and fly north. she sounds like a toothless crackhead...

  • I wonder who won? Any body taking bets? I think we all know who won... the train.

  • I heard a lemming was driving the truck

  • That used to be a nice Freightliner Coronado Sleeper until the GE ES40DC leading that train gave er' a nice smack. Was anyone injured? I hope not.

  • Nice! ES40DC takes the win! 5*****! You got the rest of the footage?

  • O MY GAWD!!!! D-A-N-G!!!!!

  • The GEVO won the battle. Probably just a broken railing that leads into the cab. That's probably all the damage it contained.

  • @CSXRP and maybe a smashed head light.

  • that had to wake up the guy in the sleeper!

  • lol the rig is totaled and the train prolbaly has a little scratch or 2

  • Hey guys can you imagine how many power has a train when he is moving??? It is very big power at all! ;)

  • To quote from Fast Times at Ridgemont High...

"My dad's a TV repairman. He has this really awesome set of tools....We can fix it!"....LOL

  • it'll buff right out

  • train: 1

    truck: 0

    truck driver: -1

  • Well if you can't duct it!

  • Steel Vs. Plastic.

  • Love the hysterical laugh at 1:45 !!!

  • That can be buffed out

  • @Lotum4n ha,ha That will need way more than a buff out. aka, a buff out is more of like a paint job

  • @Lotum4n ShamWOW

  • thats nasty

  • omg

  • didnt even hurt the train at all. looks like nothing even touched it

  • lol that guy in the first of the video walking around is like...."hey i think i see the problem. theres a damn truck on the front of this train".

  • a lot of the industrial areas have many tracks and they are not always set up very good for a truck. there are many times you either have to stop on the tracks to keep from running stop signs into a major road. if there was heavy traffic coming the driver might not have been able to see the traffic till he got on the tracks. i can tell from other peoples comments they have no clue what they are talking about.

  • you are absolutely right. there ia an intersection like that in cherokee al. they finally made a by-pass s that trucks don't have to cross the tracks. you had to pull out in front of traffic, running the stop sign to avoid the manytrains that go past there. hard to cross there during quitting time.

  • Your carrer is over truck driver! You drunk guy!

  • Fortunately low speed impact.

    Well, what happened?

Was truck stalled on track before crossing signals activated?

Truckers, if you must stop, stop BEFORE tracks.

When you can cross, have enough momentum so that you can cross and clear if your engine fails.

(Difficult to believe the engine failed.)

Did trucker stop behind other vehicles ahead, trapping himself on the tracks?)

    Great, steady video, Buzz.

    Thank you for posting this.

  • lol i love how the trains look after hitting a semi,

  • duct tape and super glue can fix it

  • Put some Windex on it.

Seriously, I hope the guys okay. Stilll, he's an idiot for not looking both ways.

  • @clinburco yes a bent railing is f***ed up, retard

  • @SilverlinerOV50 I have your retard swings asshole

  • The train didn't do much damage, I could fix that truck with just a hammer and a screwdriver

    .

  • Oh! nasty!

  • freight shaker versus freight train... lol

  • truck driver probobily got promoted to management

  • Comment removed

  • i agree with xx7stringxx. it does seem almost all train wrecks involve NS.

  • maybe not. maybe there just really shittie drivers along the line.

  • truck got wrecked on

  • i mean 7577 lol

  • did it break ns 7757's ditch light?

  • nice truck but not so nice driver

  • Hope the guy left the truck, If not then he is a retard and just a perfect example of natural selection.

  • Am I sensing a theme with all these trainwrecks? They all seem to include Norfolk Southern Trains.

  • and semis

  • And probably a lot of JB HUNT drivers too!!!!

  • Not sure exactly what happened. The driver was OK!

  • Driver lived. He walked away!

  • @buzzshelton He walked away? Why didn't he drove away?

    :)

  • the driver....died? :'(

  • Trucks are so much cooler and better that trains

  • Whos the Bitch laughing in the back ground?

  • Well, if the driver live, his driving career is over! No company will hiring him or she after this

  • read the description-

stuck on tracks and engine wont start

  • Yeah, those idiots, who do they think they are, bringing us all the goods we use daily? I wish they'd fuck right off, it's not like anyone will miss their service. What are they good for anyway....?

  • And who do you think you are launchpaad 88? What kind of name is that anyway?

  • They trucks are auto shifts. bad timing crossing the tracks i guess.

  • truck stalled and wouldnt restart. And even if it an autoshift, youre supposed to put it in manual so it wont shift while crossing the tracks. Federal law prohibits even automatics from shifting while crossing the tracks

  • you are right also. i would also like to add that with all of this new technology which half of it doesn't work. ttrucks and cars are not as dependable as they used to be. our company had to give back their 2009 trucks because they couldn'y keep them out of the shops. one weekend we had 38 brand new trucks in the shop. i don't know what happened here but my truck has shut off beore and wouldn't restart. many things can make that happen.

  • some crazy woman is laughing at 1:45

  • guess she is on drugs by the medics O_o

  • it's the FMCSR Yes you are not supposed to shift while on the tracks. Who knows what really happened.

  • did the truck driver survive

  • hihihi, funny

  • i think most of their trucks are auto shift.

  • There's no reason to stall over tracks. FMCSA rules forbid shifting gears over a railroad crossing. If a truck gets hit by a train, it's because the driver fucked up.

  • Can you provide your source for that FMCSA rule, I can't find it in the handbook.

  • §392.10

  • i figured out this is c40-9w not c40-8

  • cool norfolksouthern corail dash 8 or 9 please straighten me out between these 2

  • Comment removed

  • whos a bonehead that dont belong on the road? How do you know what the situation was that caused him to be stalled on the tracks?

  • thats a nice truck. freightliner corranado. is the driver dead?

  • The driver survived.........walked away.....

  • I guess tou're missing my point 302 boss.........I'm sure he would rather work in a iunion environment but in this overcrowded country we live in those "good" jobs haven't been available to you're typical american in over 25 years!I guess you have to look at it from my side,Union jobs are scarce cause most ppl want to be pampered and have security! Truck driving jobs are so available cause you have absolutely no representation behind you,Long hours, low pay, stress,,,I ask,HOW IS THAT RIGHT?

  • great catch!!!! 5 *****!!!

  • WOW

  • y didnt thay just back the train up? so the truck could get un logged from the train lol

  • Logistics :-)

  • where's the nice truck?? all i see is a junkliner u must be a truck driving school grad

  • That dent will buffer out and nobody will notice if the chassis' lightly twisted

  • now that some funny shit,,,,,,"lightly" twisted,,,,too funny

  • damn he fuked up da coronado datz a really nice tuck bitchass train..hope they were iight

  • Here's the difference with a semi vs train wreck......If the truck driver was injured he would have to pay all his bills cause most carriers these days have horrible or no medical coverage, also he has no representation behind him,ie union environment,to help him through this difficult experiance! Now the locomotive operater will probably be catered to,bills all payed, including medical, time off of work, and made feel comfortable with his experiance! NOW I SAY.....HOW IS THAT RIGHT?

  • don't drive a truck

  • The truck driver made a choice to work in a non union environment. His/her choice.

The railroad employee chose a job with a huge company that offered medical coverage. Union or non-union. Not all railroads are union.

How is it right? Both employees made choices in their lives that led to their pay rate and benifits.

That is the society we live in within these 50 states.

Other socialist/communist countries do things differently.

    You can always move.

  • wow youre a real, honest to god 100% moron. I drive a damn truck, my dad is a norfolk employee, I know the rail road is actually a better over all job. But I LIKE driving trucks. I am happy where the grass isnt greener, your want more fair, go to where the grass is greener, but dont bitch about it. You wanna how that is right, well this is how. I choose to drive a truck, not a train. The engineers choose to drive a train, not a truck Its called freedom of choice. Its simple, and its fair.

  • Good it was a ge. No1 cares about them. hope the driver was ok

  • well the gevos i don't care about. the C40-9Ws, those are cool.

  • I hate all GE locomotives.

  • i think the train beat the cornado

  • dont steal this idea

    unless u though of it.......

they should have ohh crap im stuck buttons

on the rails to warn the train guy to stop

  • it takes a train a half of mile or more to stop depeding on train! you see then in distant, and they will be there really soon its not like a stop in 20 seconds

  • yes but still they should have buttons to WARN

    the train driver!

  • the train will lose againts hancok

  • lol oh yea hit me 1 more time

  • Looks like the hand train is bent but the stairs are still nice and straight.

  • 400k $ rig. still not enough against a a train of any kind

  • truck brand new is 135k

    trl new is about 35-45k

  • what ever.

  • Train wins all the time

  • Ohhhh you know you deadddd!

  • lol

  • the trains will never lose a battle between any kind of vihicle

  • perhaps another train?

  • "the trains will never lose a battle between any kind of vihicle"

Depends on what you mean by 'lose'. If you are talking about coming away with more damange on impact, no, the locomotive certainly will not 'lose'...but vehicles and trucks have been known to cause derailments, and derailments are most assuredly a loss- to the locomotive, the crew, the railroad, and sometimes the community itself when there's property damage.

  • when i comes to push, trains always win, but if something gets under a train, lets say a tree stump or a tire, then derailment is possible.

  • People don't understand what a difficult and dangerous job it is to sit up in that cab and be a railroader. They probably think the guy or gal just sits up there and owns the world.

Ask anyone who's ever "been there"- those machines are more vulnerable than you think.
