No, Andy your are incorrect. The Panzerfaust is a shaped charged warhead that is "lobbed" by a black powder charge in the tube. There is no "rocket" motor. The Panzershreck" is a larger copy of the US bazooka and yes that is a rocket.

A rocket is a self propelled projectile. Panzerfausts have a detonation inside the 'tube' that throws the warhead on the front. The warhead is sent by this detonation as opposed to running on its own power- the difference between panzerfaust and rocket launcher.
