GOSH , i already downloaded the original game AND the english patch, BUT when i enter the game it's all normal till the screen says "the benevolent king, his majesty ..... etc" And the game goes pewf after that !!! D:< it says mainsystem.exe isn't working, and the game shuts . if someone knows why i'm having this problem please help mee T^T

UNFORTUNATELY no, I have not installed this game...I mean, I got it downloaded and everything and I can go to the screen of the game and click to play it but, thats pretty much all I can do, after that a few seconds within playing it, it shuts down saying its having problems for some reason...:( How come you can't install it? your situation may be different from mine. ^ ^

well, i go to the installation page and pick the 600mb option and click ok or something, then when the bar is like almost full, a window pops up saying "Installation failed" or something like that cause its in japanese...

so i was thinking maybe i missed something, now im redownloading it again xDD; wish me luck xD

I think this game was made and only works for and with windows XP, or a Windows XP compatibility . so I guess you have to run it in a Windows XP compatibility.

Within the first 10 minutes I was already being raped and then the game suddenly ended because I made all of the wrong choices. LOL SO I HAD TO START OFF FROM A DIFFERENT CHOICE. But this game is awesome. LOL

I downloaded this, but I have vista, and it doesn't seem to like me. I was able to install it with the first option, but that's the only one that works, and i can't run that without the CD. I heard that you need japanese, but i don't have ultimate and i cant download the language pack. :(

Silver chaos was created for Windows 98, I think, too.

@malakaki111 Vista works fine, you really just have to run it as administrator and make sure to hit the option that allows compatibility with the game.

@malakaki111 You right-click the icon for the game on your desktop. Go to properties, and there is a tab for compatibility. There should be a choice of which to run it on. It's as simple as placing it onto the right compatibility, saving your options, and then running the game as administrator for good measure.

I really enjoyed this game since it had such wonderful characters. Leica and Hector are my favorites, but I think Sergei and Might had one of the most beautiful love scenes I have seen in a while. Overall, the game is great, but its sequel pales in comparison. Either way, both games are nothing compared to Messiah :P

Think of Silver Chaos as a choose your own adventure story. You make decisions for Might throughout the game and the decisions will decide what ending you get and which character(if any) Might will end up falling in love with. Might and Adonis is the canon pair though.

I swear the plot was the brown haired one is in the army/whatever, gets seriously injured (can't spell), then the silverhaired one (obviously in love with him) does a spell to save him, which results in 'evil' taking away his body. That's why there are pics of him with funky tatoos looking evil.
