Ron also has a tryout in the sixth book, when Harry had become the new captain of the Griffindor team.

So I guess they'll just pretend Quidditch never happened in the fifth film.

Does it matter really? Anyways, I like to pretend that Dolores banned Quidditch in Movie 5 (would have been nice if they showed that as a Educational Decree to explain its absence).

well the keeper graduated from hogwarts so thats an open position so ron can try out
