Hi there....I'm one of the two people that hand picked each of the artists to play at The Red House Parties. I'm with the radio show Music For Listeners.

Being fans of both already, we knew that placing Marcus and Laura in the bill next to each other, that they would perform together. I believe this is the only time at SXSW 09 they performed together. It may even be the the only time, so far, they've ever played together in the U.S....to my knowledge.

I didn't know they were playing at Red House or I would have come along! The only gig I didn't catch Laura at the whole festival...

i don't think it's in open tuning. i think it's just standard. because it starts with a barred G then it goes to D7, but she plays different versions of the chord which i'm having trouble to work out.

This show was announced a month before SXSW. Watch for the day party lists.....or in 2010....just come hang out at the Red House during the day. I can almost guarantee it will be a good one. Moshi Moshi is coming back for another line-up of their own.
