Multiculturalism has worked out a bit better in the states though. they have had multiculturalism longer, there are also more ethnic backgrounds in the states than any other part of the world, there are white people, asian, african, latino and they live all across America together very well.
It took a lot of time for multiculturalism to assimilate in Australia in the last 35 years though but it is now quite stable.

I have been to Australia and I took most of the goods I could - volunteering, marathoning, swimming, getting exposed to a lots of SE Asians :) - a lot to offer. I wish India could also attract people from across the globe on the same scale but there are some homework needs to be done.

I don't think the Aus government is influenced by any lobbying on issues of immigration. It's not possible for Aus to close the door to immigration, if Aus were able to keep white Aus policy she would have done so but the international community, especially Europe and US would not approve it and Aus will very likely be isolated. I don't agree with mass multiculturalism, it mostly only leads to segragation, some limited immigration is not a problem though, but they should be abiding by our laws not the other way around where they come from their nation and force their culture on the locals, that's forced assimilation, it's wrong!

Multiculturalism has worked out a bit better in the states though. they have had multiculturalism longer, there are also more ethnic backgrounds in the states than any other part of the world, there are white people, asian, african, latino and they live all across America together very well.
It took a lot of time for multiculturalism to assimilate in Australia in the last 35 years though but it is now quite stable.

I don't think the Aus government is influenced by any lobbying on issues of immigration. It's not possible for Aus to close the door to immigration, if Aus were able to keep white Aus policy she would have done so but the international community, especially Europe and US would not approve it and Aus will very likely be isolated.
