Fed up of this talk of covers - we didn't get many of the versions that were released in the States so to us these ARE the originals. The 'Berries' were fantastic live on stage. Funny as well - had a routine bit like The Barron Knights. They could mimic other bands.
This is a nice cover of the Joey Powers song that was a Top Ten hit in the U S In 1964. Production wise, this version is far superior to J P, and the vocals are also much better! The Rockin' Berries did absolutely nothing stateside, but on the basis of this and "He's In Town" I can only wonder why? They were huge in England and quite rightsly so! Thqanks YT for the space, and radiohooligan for the upload( Thanks for sharin' and carin') and finally to The Rockin' B's thanks for stayin and playin

I do remember this song and they do a great cover. I think I like this version better. Lead singer has a wonderful voice.
