really even if they called and talked like that, kinda sounds like your the wrong one now, its not the cop it was the court that made the law if he didnt do his job or the orders he is giving then he will have no job like some of you that didnt have anything better to do then make everyone their have a bad time, you talk on the cops what about when someone their that is trying to have a good time with his family hits you for making a bad trip for them, whos going to save you then, your big mouth

@JAMIELEEMCFADDEN yes...sadly tho money corrupts and i fear there will always be more corrupt police than good police until we have a change in our perception
@NoGuyComesClose Baloney. You think the founders of this Republic didn't fear the British Army? Sure they feared the worlds greatest superpower of the time, but that fear was overridden by their desire to be free. The Human desire to be free, will and always does, overcome fear of government. Human history is rife with examples of that. That said, Mr. Kokesh as a fellow vet I would just like to say, keep up the good work. Nice to know that there are others out there who take the oath seriously.
You obviously need someone to protect you because from all these videos I see you are very fragile. Spoiling for a fight like a spoiled little boy. By the way, to all out there this is a purely made up call.
Adam was arrested on five counts of dancing in public. Hahahahahaaa.. I would LOVE to see that trial. Oh, wait.. we don't have trials anymore. Well, you might as well execute him.
Until the government and the police fear people's rights, people will never be free. Once the people fear the government & it's policies the game is over & enslavement will reign forever.
That would be too dangerous to go all the way to Afganistan and stand aroud the U.S. military guarded POPPY FIELDS to protest their gangs and guns ??? )o,,,
"I want to help facilitate your first amendment rights."
There should be no need to "facilitate" an inalienable right. Mr. Kokesh reacted perfectly when he said that they should stay as far away as possible to facilitate his first amendment rights. And he says he wants to create a "more favorable outcome" for the protest (meaning they make sure the protesters don't actually violate the unconstitutional law, therefore infringing on first amendment rights)! Oh the delicious, delicious hypocrisy.
@kamikazemelon787 Exactly! These officers today are mentally ill, they live for the badge of honor due to the fact they have zero individuation. As Mr. Kokesh said: "You can keep your officers & their guns as far away as possible" whoever is behind these officers of today are being told to "Push the issue on civilians". These cops on the street are nothing more than "Yes Men" if their chief told them "Stop messing w/peoples rights" they would do so. Judge, attorney, chief, organized crime!
Although i agree with what he is saying to the officer... hes a bit of an ass! again i AGREE with what adam is trying to point out here but i guess he is forgetting about all the people that WOULD be offended by this demo. and although i am not one of them we all know how a group of people can be! one min were all having fun next min big ass fight because someone is pissed off... i like what he is doing.. dont be a dick to a cop for no reason! cops are still needed even if we dont like them.. =D

You'll never see him in a black/latino neighborhood protesting against gangs or gun crime....you'll never see him in Saudi Arabia or Iran protesting against women being flogged or stoned to death.
But...if some old white librarian puts up a "no talking sign", he'll be there in an instant.
@richard20bris Its better going safe because if u go violently then the other people think you are just some other guy throwing shit around and destroying property. Not everything need violent.
@richard20bris you go out to east la and protest mexican gang bangers a lot do you? ever even been to the hood? being a white american soldier, not even from the area, and protesting gangs on their turf? that will get you dead real fast.
@richard20bris ok internet toughie how about you go out there and do protests OF ANY KIND. the people that stand up to this police state that we are in where our rights no longer matter and anyone can pass a law that disregards our freedoms are hero's because they are the people who stand up and say no more. you just keep living in your close minded government/corporate run police state thinking everything is great if you want to but others are not.
@richard20bris #1- Protesting against gangs or guns? Thats CRIME, not an out-of-control govt. I suggest the people that live in those areas do the protesting of gangs and guns instead of enabling the gangs.
#2- Saudi Arabia? Iran? What does the human rights violations of foreign countries that the US is best friends with (Saudi), have to do with AMERICAN Fed, State and local govts abuse of power?
Im pretty sure that YOU havent done ANYTHING to get out there to protect your rights as a citizen.
@VoodooPolitico That would be too dangerous to go all the way to Afganistan and stand aroud the U.S. military guarded POPPY FIELDS to protest their gangs and guns ??? )o,,,
@richard20bris you don't deserve to live in this country. just something to think about... why do you think so many people are starting to sell drugs these days? UNEMPLOYMENT. And the government is just fine with that. They even supply it and make sure it is distributed properly. If drugs were legalized there would be no need for gangs at all and the government could tax drugs. But that would never be more money than they get from fining citizens who have them. Change the GOVERNMENT. THINK.
@lorddennis1 Who Adam? You know he got choke slammed for dancing quietly and in a non disruptive manner last time he went to the memorial right? The cop was calling to proactively enforce the park policy on where you can gather. The very point of the protest was demonstrate in violation of that policy. I think I'd be a bit of an ass too if the guy responsible for that violence last time was calling me up under such disingenuous pretenses.
see this is where Adam decides to be a condescending prick for no good reason. I'm a huge Ron Paul supporter but this is THE big thing I don't like about most other Ron Paul supporters: if you ever disagree with one, they become condescending assholes rather than talk it out. and I totally agree with Adam's position! but he didn't have to treat the cop like that.
@madbowler6 Do you define the attitude of the officer body slamming him to the hard floor (for dancing around alone) as condescending?? I call it a criminal act; that if I did that to him I would be arrested for assault (or he would kick my butt) or both. The Lieut. was feeling around for info. ie how many people, how many in your personal party. He was on a recon. mission. I think if you offer no resistnce, and get tossed around like a rag doll by a twerp you could destroy... be condescending!
@madbowler6 did you see what happened to adam and others when they did dance at the jefferson memorial and the cops that this chief was in charge of did? You do also realize that when they were "arrested" at the memorial previously they were not charged with anything and paid zero fines at court. So, when is it ok to treat cops the way he did? Before or after being manhandled to the ground and illegally kidnapped? I sympathize with your position but I think LOLs are less harsh than custody.
@madbowler6 And I have to disagree with you, because the very purpose of the cop calling was to be a condescending asshole. They misrepresent the law then have the gall to try to say that they are doing it for your protection. That is the height of lunacy. Adam had a natural reaction to hearing insanity. Just because someone is a cop doesn't mean you have to give them some special respect or leeway. If your friend said something as remotely absurd then you'd be right to react the same way.
people like adam kokesh are the reason why i loved our former president's dictatorship. Shit was easy and simple back then. we didn't even have any debt at all. now it's all about letting everyone speak their mind & run for the parliament, even though they know nothing of the things they say and are not qualified to make an official statement about it.
@patrick2586 I don't think you thought your statement out all the way. Maybe he wanted to pay respect by expressing himself thru dance. Express himself freely without persecution. Where did President Jefferson and the other founders write in the First Amendment that you could only express yourself if others don't find it disrespectful? Perhaps you would like to give us the instructions on how a proper American pays respect or should freely express himself so this never happens again.

@patrick2586 " When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty" Thomas Jefferson I do beleive that TJ would not look at as being dis-respectfully !!
one one hand, its brilliant police work as usual :X....... however, Im inclined to think dancing is not appropriate at a memorial..... as the song says:
"A time to build up,a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together" turn turn turn.
@someguy6978 spoken like someone who is incapable of adjusting his behavior to fit the occasion. I didnt say the police were right. I merely suggested that dancing isnt appropriate for a memorial.. Nor did i say the police should enforce "appropriate demeanor".. so piss off. I dont dance on your mothers grave, and i dont laugh at funerals- solemn events and places
@medievalman86 If my mother died after a life time of fighting for our rights to dance among other things....I'd say it'd be more of a tribute to her if we danced at her grave....This by the way isn't a grave but a memorial.
After watching the video of the event it looks like things worked out pretty well. Way to go. But I think constructive engagement would be a good policy when you have a similar engagement in the future.
Sorry Adam. I love you man and you are doing great things. But you really missed the call (literally) on this one. You had The Man back on his heels in a defensive posture by making this call to you. You had the power to engage him and press for concessions and more concessions. At the end he was starting to buckle but unfortunately the call dropped. He was seriously afraid of 3000 people at the Jeff and ready to deal!
The conduct of slow dancing doesn't violate the CFR provision that the Park Police are enforcing which targets demonstrations, and which slow dancing with a partner does not appear to be. This doesn't even get to the constitutional issue.
I thought this was quite humorous, but at the same time, it pissed me off.

Kokesh needs to grow up and get a job. This is hardly a civil rights issue--it's just a few attention whores acting like fools.
