Walter Martin was outstanding and had no peer in his field as hammerogod said. It was always a pleasure listening to him.

For the great bulk of time of his ministry, he dealt primarily with cults and the occult and faithfully defended orthodox churches even while acknowledging their errors.

Unfortunately, His ministry, CRI, has now been diverted from cults and the occult into breeding strife among Christians and a very large group of copycat critics have emerged as "discernment ministries."

Walter Ralston Martin and the organization he founded (Christian Research Institute) was the premier Christian apologist ... I have heard him speak on many subjects on many occasions and I have never found him to be less than totally accurate ... we currently do not have many Men (or Women) who can discuss and defend the truth as well and with as much academic authority as Dr. Martin ... God bless you Dr. Martin and God confirm the truths you brought.
