It's weird, my copy of The Collective has no song called Drifting Figures, instead it has one called Redwoods. I've read about 6 reviews on the album, all of them make no mention of Redwoods, and instead have Drifting Figures. Where there different versions of the album or something?

I love how there's a shit load of tube amps being advertised in the video. and yet Chris is playing and AxeFX.

@selkiesack All distortion and clean was used through real amps, just happens to be the angle in which video footage was filmed and the Fractal being "on" that made it seem that way. We only used the Fractal for some of the weird effects. We had just received it and had zero time to really write any of the patches.

Hey guys, im a relatively young guitarist (~3 1/2 years) who LOVES guitar. I play probably 4 hours a day on average. But ive never had a set practice regimen, and after reading articles on you guys and others, such as John Pettrucci, Rusty Cooley, etc., ive determined that to get to the level of playing that i want to be at i need a set regimen. So i just came on here to ask if you guys have any suggestions on what to include in my regimen? Anything you got would be great! LOVE U

@igordrackenwulf its not really so much "what" to include, as it is just having one. the number one problem with most people "practicing" is they aren't practicing. They are more so just noodling around. What I always did was just set times for certain things and always always practice with a metronome, so 20 minutes for this, etc.... If you need recommendations make sure to have scales/modes, chord exercises, string skipping, tapping, improv, stuff like that. Mix it up everyday. Hope that helps

@moses132049 I doubt it's actually clipping, probably just youtube quality. Clipping sounds a hell of a lot worse, and is definitely not usually a direct result of loudness, since loudness is usually achieved with limiters.
