We're playing a bit of this in our field show this year...the vocals are basically played by a trumpet soloist (she does amazing justice to it). It's a great song.

I grew up with this song too. I saw the show live nearly a dozen times in one summer [when I was around 12]. My dad worked security at the venue and I watched every show, hung around backstage and got an autographed poster from the whole troupe. Was the best summer of my life. This song was my favorite, and luckily enough they made a t-shirt with one of the verses on it. Still have it, but it's so worn away now.
