this is so much better than the version on david letterman 'maybe its just due to the sound set up but jesses vocal sounds uch stronger and he hasnt missed out as many guitar parts too.such a deep beautiful song..i was obbsessed with it during a very low period an this song always takes me back to it.

i think that this song is about how nobody really knows whats gonna happen when they die and hes saying how hes scared of not knowing what to expect. you can be taught all this stuff in church but youll never know till it happens.

i think the song is definitely about Jesus if you read the lyrics. They aren't a Christian band but that doesn't mean that they can't comment on Jesus. Jesse was a Christian in his youth. Whether or not he is today I don't know.
