I am nearly 46 years old. I loved this so much as a kid, this and The Six Million Dollar Man. They were easily the best shows of the 1970's. I would still watch them now.

I was seven when this show first aired and Lindsey Wagner was my first real crush. Of course as time went along, I realized I thought Steve Austin was alot hotter. I think it might have been the music. they really did aim this second intro towards young woman and possibly theatrically inclined young boys. she used to drive a datsun 240z. pretty sexy car for the time. Diana prince aka Wonder woman drove a Benz 460 sl. they should make a movie with both of them

Here are some other clues that confirm that this intro is from Season 3: 1) the music is a little faster; 2) the computer read-out on Jaime Sommers states that she is 28 yrs old (when the show first started in 1976 Jaime was 26 yrs old); and 3) the blinking word "CRITICAL" at 0:21 is now colorized yellow (originally, it was bluish-white like the rest of the writing).

This was one of my all-time favourite TV shows growing up (and of course, Six Mill). Now, about the title of this clip - the ORIGINAL into TV show? No disrespect intended but you're wrong, sorry. For those who are true BW fans, we'll recognize this theme as the intro from the 3rd season, perhaps even 2nd season. The ORIGINAL intro to the TV show would have to be the one heard in the premiere episode, "Welcome Home Jaime". Search "Bionic Woman Season 1 Opening" to hear what I'm talking about.

This was an awesome series. One of the few times a spinoff has been as popular and good as the parent show (Six Million Dollar Man, of course). My question: Why didnt the govt just use her to continue to play tennis on the pro circuit - she would have cleaned up :-)

They need to start a totally new show called something like: The Bionics or The Bionic Squad and each character is unique! to inspire the next generation of kids- this show and 6 mil$ man was too good to let it slip into oblivion, invent something new, bring this back and have Lindsay Wagner as one of the producers. your are so right my friend..they may have all the greatest CGi in the world but even if the original had cheapo effects, basicly none since they were just running, jumping or smashing things on slow motion with weird sounds, you can't beat the soul and charisma the original had...something you can't replace with fancy effects. The same goes with the 2009 Trek film...not bad but ions from the original cast.

The contrast between the "bionic sounds" and the soft piano melody is perfect, which makes the opening theme so nice to hear. Also this theme matches perfectly with the title image. I still get goosebumps whenever I see and hear this title.  It is so touching. Thanks for posting!

There are many different opening themes not to mention the short theme that last 50 sec. and it was used by ABC in the 70's. A lots of different closing themes also!

I live in Canada too and I bought the europeen DVD from season 1 and 2. The quality is extraordinary. Don't wait for the US region 1 Universal release. It won't happen.

It's not so much that 'they're bringing this show back' as it is they are re-imagining the premise into what looks to be a very dark serious-toned drama starring a British brunette with huge boobs to play the part of Jamie Sommers (yes, they even changed the spelling of her name from Jaime to Jamie). The new bionic woman makes vodka and tonics for a living...I bet anything this remake will be canceled in no time flat. Lindsay Wagner rules!
