Joey Joey Joey, what's with the personal attack on Mayor Menino? You do realize he, and the City of Boston, have NO connection to management at the M.B.T.A. right? The (T) is a state agency. It fall under the jurisdiction of the Governor, State Transportation Secretary, and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
Also, Tommy Menino (I can say as a former staffer of his) is a down to earth guy who really does care about the average working joe in this City.
Milwaukee County Transit System is $2 and all we have is buses...and it's worthless you have it way better than we do hence why i chose to drive in milwaukee
if you dont like the mbta dont ride on it sometimes things just happen and it happen to get shut down for 2 hours so s hours later its running again the blue needed the new stations because the old ones were falling apart i think the greenline is a nice line with the type 8 breda trollets and the blue with the new sieman 0700 seris cars orangeline hawker siddley o1000s series and the redline with the siemans 01000s series and the silverline to
stop your crying and stfu if you dont like the MBTA dont use it, who cares what people eat. if the tran is not running on time its because people are slow and its slows down the line. and when the trains broke down most likely some jack ass jumped in front of the train and they need to have shuttle buses from other bus lines so if your waiting for your bus that never comes its on a shuttle bus line AND save yourself some time fill your card before you get on the bus.
Well whta you dont get is that the MBTA has a BILLION dollars in debt.Even if they didnt have a fare increse than we would have to rasie a tax of some type to fund it.Green line and blue line are bad system to work.
exactly. why should people all over the state have to pay for something only people living in and visiting the boston area are using? let the users pick up the debt!
and besides, aside from the inefficiency of the green line, they serve more stops than the blue, orange, red, and silver lines put together
thank you! It is a shame that the T is a JOKE! . I don't know who the hell runs and plans that transportation system. The trains a from 1965 and it is not reliable at all! it takes forever to get to a pont to another, nothing connects perfectly! And I'm talking about Trams, Trains Subways And Especially Buses, Wich sucks the most!
Update....when this was made...it was supposed to be a 25 cent increase. It's a ridiculous 2 bucks now..a 75 cent increase...but only 1.70 a ride if you get the Charlie Card. FIGHT THE FARE INCREASE!!!
daddeo01905 is a moron. Those subsidies are in fact going into massive and modern stations at the end of T lines that receive the least traffic. Could have fainted when they finally decided to paint Boylston Station.
Most rider on the T do not pay the true cost of the servce they get, because the federal government subsides part of the cost. So I fact the cost of the T should be higher and match the fares of other cities like New York.

This is sad. I think the green line is pretty damn efficient for almost 100 years old. Don't like it, don't use it.
