lol a stock gearbox for the m4/m16 series will be about 60 bucks, the mag catch is about 10 bucks, and the stock motor is about 45 bucks.when you say"all this thing really needs is a mag catch, gearbox, and motor."the only thing there is a good body...its worth about 30 bucks bud.
i bought this gun brand new and there were some disappointing things about it...
suck as the "kinda" wobbally stock
some cheap plastic parts "like the fore grip and pistol grip"
and the worst one was that the mag wouldnt sit properly in the magwell... i sent the gun back to get a new one but there all that way... so i put some electrical tape in there and now it works fine...
other than those three minor things (that are easily upgraded and fixed) this gun is amazing
