well, at least the levels look partially destructive, mainly pillars. But hopefully they learned form resistance and work on making the game solid so that it can support an unmoving frame rate even when all hell breaks loose.
hopefully this game lives up to the hype. the last killzone had so much hype and didn't live up to it. they are in the same situation now. they have to make good use of that. and this is coming from a honest killzone fan
Just look at these graphics compared to the Halo 3 Beta... Need I say more? Yes I know it's in beta but on G4 one of Bungies devs said that the graphics were pretty much finalized for the multiplayer. What you see on the beta is what your going to get.

graphics??? what kind of gamer are you?! sure we all appreiciate pretty graphics, but there are things like GAMEPLAY to consider,and framerate... halo 3 has great graphics anyway, they're just not as gritty. granted, this game looks cool, but i'm not holding my breath. at the end of the day, it's just another shooter. as for graphics, nes games are still fun to play for hours on end, not because they look nice, but because they have great gameplay.
Well yes but I think it's funny how people always say that the gameplay matters yet Xbox fanboys always make a big deal when one of their games has better graphics than the PS3..
It's funny how their 'killer app' has pretty lame graphics IMO.
in my opinion,this game isn't doing anything new or fresh. the weapons appear to be the standard assortment from the first game, none of which were imaginative nor particularly fun to use, least of all the horribly designed sniper rifle. the graphics are amazing, but a game needs more than real time fragmenting terrain and pretty unit models to be great. those things are just icing on the cake. i prefer cake to icing.

another game I would like to compare KZ2 with would be Doom3. In a nutshell, doom3 is a very generic shooter. But Doom3's graphics gave it its spine chilling atmosphere that really justified doom 3 as an incredible experience.

absolutely amazing game. most looked forward to game eva. will be 10 times better than halo 3. and the graphics are as good as gears of war if not better.
they're better than gears of war (coming from a 360 owner), but this game has no personality. gears of war has a freakin chainsaw on the end of a gun, a bow that fires explosive arrows, and a satellite weapon that rains fiery death from above. killzone 2 is the same tired old formula with amazing graphics thrown in. at least it appears so in this trailer. we shall see in the future, but i already know halo 3 kicks ass because i've played it.
Gears of War may have their chainsaw but if u played Killzone 1 and Killzone Liberation u would know that Killzone does have a bow that fires explosive arrows,and the weapon that rains fiery death from above. So get your facts straight before u say anything.
@jmann1212 well he wasn't talking about KZ1 or liberation. but you do bring a good point. I didn't even know that. I've only played KZ2. but KZ2 does make me want to play the first one, just to know the story a bit more.
