YAY! I luv Tympole, 1st shiny in White and in all games overall, and first shiny for my dream team of shinies in Black, just found it half an hour ago.

I'm trying to hunt for a shiny lillipup on route 1. I dont mind if i get a shiny patrat. I have a mew lv 100 with thunder wave and false swipe. Im trying to stay focused on hunting because i usually dont have the patience. If you guys can give me any tips that would help a lot. Thanks!

@gamewiz98, you can track the random encounters at the back of the trainer card.But yeah personally I did not count on that occasion. Will count in a future hunt, as my next target is one in the wild. Well whenever your pokemon battle other pokemon they gain effort points (each pokemon gives out different effort points to 1 or more of the main stats such as HP and Def) these effort points raise their stats, so basically you get to choose where to place these bonus stat increases. I always miss recording my shinies, but I just found my 108th shiny in the GBA games, an shiny yanma in leafgreen :D Im hoping to SR for a far away island mew, but gratz on the tympole!

Just curious... why didn't you teach Simisage Seed Bomb? Almost all of the time it is a better move than Bullet Seed.

Yesterday me and my friend started a shiny race! That's where you race someone to see who can get a shiny first, I am hunting Yamask and he is hunting Rufflet so it will be interesting to see who will win! And congratulations Tympole is a cool Pokémon and an amazing shiny!

@masterdrawoh, good luck if it has not shone yet, I would not have the patience for those starters. Indeed he is slow but a pretty bulky and strong member of the shiny team, it's a shame that it can't currently have any physical water moves, maybe in a future game. Yeah will get that "Ah Live" eventually in this quest. Cheers.

@Ivix13, indeed it's pretty coll when it evolves as well, especially when it's fully evolved, no idea why it can't have any non special attacking based Water moves though but yeah it's awesome none the less.
