I really love this very inspirational, touching, sad piano music... I really really like it. I was in tears whenever I listen to it...I wanna say thank you to my Mom, Dad, My Family, My friends/Barkada, my special someone and to all of you guys who's listening to this right now!
"Death ends a life, not a relationship", says Mitch Albom in his book "Tuesdays with Morie". The song is truly appropriate for the quote. Jim, you are a truly blessed musician. You can send a powerful message even without any lyrics in your song. I'll be listening to your music till my dying days. Thank you for lifting my spirit up and making me see the important things in life!
Thank you sooooo much for this , man you just don't know I grew up listening to Jim, and this song was one of my favorites from him, I purchased the dusk cd online years ago and lost it, but here it is man so many memories! Thank you!
One of my favorites. Painting May takes the cake for me though. Can't find it on youtube for some reason. But I'm not too devastated :D Every Jim Chappell song has so much heart in it, I can't bother listening to anything other than that one song for months.
No pasion, sino Devocion.
.. this is really a very nice music...been a fan of Jim Chapell since then...as an artist, this music is so nice played while thinking, painting, dreamin, travelling..really this is great!
A pet kitten that Jim Chappell and his girlfriend adopted from a kennel had a rare form of leukemia. Jim took the kitten back to the vet after medication proved fruitless for a cure. Mr. Chappell held the kitten while the vet cured its pain by putting it down. Jim wrote "Gone" a few days later while thinking of this cute little kitten that had blessed his girlfriend and him.
thank you so much. now as i listen to the song i cry for the loos of my dog Layla who also got very sick and i had to hold her also while she took her last breaths. but i had Layla for 12 years and i still can not bring myself to think about another dog. well, maybe someday.
I'm looking all over for years for this music! Now I finally know the title and the composer. This is the greatest sad instrumental I've ever heard in my entire life!
Me too! I've been looking around for this song. I do know the tune but didn't know the title until a few months ago. As soon as I knew the title, I learned to play it. on piano and immediately posted a video of it. I love this song!
I really love this one so much, it is so beautiful. I'm so glad I am able to enjoy listening to your wonderful playing again. God has blessed me so much through you. Thank you :-).
One of the most beautiful piano solos I've ever heard. At what skill level would you suggest trying my luck at this song? Also, where did you find the score? Thank you, both for your beautiful performance and your response.
Has to be one of my favorites of yours. I really enjoy closing my eyes and allowing the music to permeate my fatigued outer shell, allowing me to relax to this calm piece. You really have a gift! Definitely stirs some touching memories of the seasons.
Just Breathtaking!!!!! You do an outstanding job of conveying the emotions of this song. Your handwork is simply marvelous and your piano sounds like a gem. What a lovely arrangement! Lovely pics too!
I am in love with this music. Have been for 20 years!
