  • Some are completely numb. Some enter straight into denial, avoiding the reality of what just happened. So he played a video game? Sorry but that does not mean he killed her, and after this video one must be fucking stupid not to see he loved his family.

  • 1) the body was inside her bedroom stop making up fucking lies to prove a point

    2) have any of you read the stranger ? Anyone actually read a book anymore? well here's the truth which must be fucking hard to believe, no one is the same!!!! Not everyone deals with things like you rune! Like for fucks sake, you cant incarcerate or accuse someone for a crime over their behavior ! That's not proof. That's not evidence. Some people are assholes. Some people are ridiculously emotional. Some are comp

  • Those cops should have got life in prision the cops always get away with shit that is why 95% of cops r going to hell

  • fuck the police!

  • η ψυχη μου πονεσε..

  • Here's hoping the dirty cops eventually got their comeuppance in a dark alley with a bullet.

  • Tuite didn't do it. The kids did and everyone in the legal system know it. It was a conspiracy for money. Sad.

  • @depodeeva are you fucking stupid? The tricked him into confessing. Tuite had stephanies blood on both his shirts. I hope this happens to you.

  • @Fresh2DeathDudes : Tuite's shirt was stored in the bloody evidence locker for 1 1/2 years. When placed into the locker, the shirt had NO blood on it. After hiring a new expert to come take a look into the case 1 1/2 years after the murder, they opened up the locker and they went through everything, find Tuite's shirt with some blood smudges on it and they got all excited and blamed him based on that.

  • @Fresh2DeathDudes: The blood got on the shirt from the camera tripod feet. The camera tripod was used in the case to take photos at the scene and was placed on the bloody carpet which put blood on the tripod feet. The tripod and Tuite's shirt were mixed up together in the locker and the blood on the tripod contaminated the shirt.

  • @depodeeva does it matter now? he was proved innocent. so whatever.

  • @Fresh2DeathDudes: If you read the newspaper/watched the news, you would've known that. I find it hard to believe that the cops would've put a shirt of Tuite's away in a locker had it had blood on it. DUH! This isn't rocket science. And they weren't tricked. One of the boys first voluteered a confession, had his dad drive him into the station. The other two soon followed. What you believe is called "media hype," in combination with "denial." Welcome to the real world.

  • If we know people will make false confessions under physical torture, which we know from history that they will, then it doesn't a genius to figure out that they'll do it under psychological torture as well. Especially children.

  • @Lyn7721

    2. When they found her body, it was outside her bedroom! And Stephanie's and Micheal's bedrooms were right across from each other. How can someone step inside the hallway and Not Notice It??

  • @Lyn7721 It's alright to be different as a teen - But ANYONE will be shocked to find their family member BRUTALLY MURDERED, but slept through the night silently.

    1. If someone murdered your family member, and the police stormed into your house will you be busy with a video game?(To take stress off is situations like work, arguments, etc) But bloody murders? Most people wouldn't even believe their family member was stabbed, let alone focus on gaming.

  • so what happened to micheal??

was he ok after all of that??

  • Cops can be such assholes..

  • @silverakantor They are.

  • @phanggrl I mean not all but some can just abuse the power they get. It sucks

  • when i watched this movie it made me more determid to be a criminal defence lawyer when i grow up, i mean most of the time police don't care about the truth all they care about is result. it's a PISS take.

  • i just watched the movie to why would the police beleive the homeless dude and they couldnt interrigate him like that in the movie he didnt admit it his friend josh did

  • i just watched the movie to why would the police beleive the homeless dude and they couldnt interrigate him like that

  • DAMN THATS LIKE ABUSE BUT UR NOT PHYSICAL U JUST MAKIN SOMEONE CONFESS TO SOMETHING THEY DIDNT DO

  • nertorta "something about him is not right"?? are you kidding me?? who WOULD'NT seem strange after being traumatized so horribly???

  • @Zurround100 hear hear!

  • dont buy the homeless story something about him is not right

  • @nertorta uhmm... since when do we go on looks?! And not on prove?!

The homeless guy had blood on his swearshirt! The blood of the kid's sister! In a distinctive splatter pattern so explain that away? That is prove!

  • It just dont make Sentence for me why a homeless will kill her she would screem or something part of me didnt belive he didnt do it they didnt clear in move how and why

    maybe he did do it

  • @nertorta Your statement makes no sense. When he would've killed him she would not have screamed?

This case has excellent scientific prove in the form of DNA on a homeless' shirt which had a history of abuse before and after! Killing doesn't require a reason, sometimes the reason: "it just feels good is good enough". But she could've simply caught him breaking and entering and he "out of defense" stabbed her.

  • @rdoetjes But listen hear, as likely as it seems that the homeless man is the killer

i wanted to take crowe's side too----but after I heard the complete story, the evidence is overwhelming.

Michael and his 2 friends seemed "preoccupied and distant" before her murder, and michael and stephanie never got along.

But what really sets off is Michael's alibi: He says that early morning, he got up cause he had a headache, took a Tylenol, and drank a glass of milk and went straight back to bed.

  • @RuneWorksMovie I hear you but what do you suggest?! That going out of bed taking a pill is a false alibi? Just think about how often you wake up and take a pill or something to drink or even go to the bathroom.

Even the blood splatter on the hobo's shirt can be highly speculative but it certainly is more than what sticks on Mike. Being preoccupied in that age is very normal. Sure it's not an easy case but blood splatter like you say is overwhelming evidence.

  • i seen the movie and they found all this violent video game stuff and they even told him they found evidence saying he did do it so he might as well confess.

  • This is the reason why innocent people need lawyers.

Truth and justice is only a matter of opinion.

  • @mariah107

where can i watch the movie ONLINE?

  • The people who did this interrogation deserve to go to jail.

  • Not true, Ulansananelan. Google the "Guildford Four."

  • These 'protectors' of the public should be permanently removed from society.

  • this happened only in usa fuck usa

  • dude this happened plan and simple ...

  • He is right, the pig cop is guilty of child abuse...If a cop did that to my son, I'd take all of my 270 lbs and beat the everliving shit out of him...that man should be imprisoned for abuse and for being the biggest idiot on the planet.. is he still working as a pig?

  • sheep...we are just sheep. If this had happened in the USSR we would be both condemning it, and believing it. But, no, it happened here, under the Stars and Stripes, so we just can't deal with it. What's really troubling...in this era of "punishment solves all" is that no name so the prosecutors are released, no one on the prosecutorial payroll are released, and THE GUILLIOTINE HASN'T BEEN SET UP FOR THOSE WHO USE THE LAW TO KILL THE INNOCENT. Damn...read the French Revolution!

  • yea my dad have been in the USSR he said it was scary, basically he said you cant take pictures, and also everyone is an armed policeman with ak-47 in there hand so no one will miss behave or else the guards will do nasty things. My but i think my dad was one of the lucky one who got an soviet visa to go watch the summit series in 72.

  • there is a movie called Butterfly Effect, the one that was made in 2004 starring ashton kutcher. i think its a good movie. you guys should watch it. It totally relates to this.

  • @xbubbleskitzx

Umm..actually the Butterfly Effect does not relate to this at all "bubbleskitz". Did you even watch that movie? What the hell are you talking about?

  • OF COURSE I WATCHED THE MOVIE.

its just reminds me of the part when the little boy, who holds the knife in his hand, and then he cant remember, -.-"

thats what im TALKING about >:[

  • wat was the movie called?

  • @sexyjerry13 the interrogation of michael crowe

  • I'm watching this movie now and this is exactly why I'm about about to finish my BA in May, go to law school and fight for bullshit like this. How the hell can u take advantage of a child like that let along put his family through even more shit than they are already going through. It really sickens me.

  • I hope you will go through with going to law school and I hope people like you will put an end to this kind of "law enforcement".

I wish you the best of luck.

  • hes a teen because 13-19 has the suffix teen. But i agree with you i know its bullshit i also think that every kids teenager should be giving a free lesson on there rights. because if this teen knows his rights he wont submit to the interrogation. For one i know my rights and they are as follows. I have a right to remain silent, I have a right to a lawyer before questioning i have a right to call my parents. I dont have to answer any questions except the name address and noting about the case.

  • the case is little confusing but rather u 14yrs old or not. i dont think anyone shud confess to something they didnt do. so why did he.yeah police go hard for u to admit so the case be solve easy .and they use the method of oh just say u did it and we will help u thats so old but they catch people with it to this day. so if ur inncoent never admit . so he did for a reason. and defense was right america believes oh poor little kid only 14 no he didnt YES EVEN YOUNGER KIDS KILLED

  • There was more to it they had made he boy believe that he killed his sister, they told him they found the knife in his room and blood on his clothes they kept going till he confessed if you think about it when you tell a child many times that they actually did something they will believe it watch the movie "The Interrogation of Michael Crowe" then you will see

  • Please don't try to make a point if you can't type.

  • the movie was awesome 12 stars

  • There was a film of it can someone please tell me where i can watch it online plz xx

  • ah, i just saw this program on tv, its called the interrogators.

the most amazing thing i think is that this didnt happen some 40 years ago.

    this happend in 1998.

  • The one expert in this video is Stan B. Walters, who is the second? The one wearing glasses?

    Anyone know?

  • Comment removed

  • Richard Leo. Professor of Law at the University of San Francisco. He's conducted a lot of research on interrogations and false confessions. He also wrote a great book entitled Police Interrogation and American Justice.

  • i hope those cops got punished

  • Oh my gosh i just saw the movie not too long ago and everything is sooo identical the words and everything. That kid who plays michael in the movie is such an amazing actor.

  • the movie is coming on tonight on lmn i can't wait to watch it i heard it was really good.

  • me too. I just finished watching it.

  • i do understand y ur all pisted at the cops. because he was INERCENT. but wen everdence points to him, the cpos were doin there job. in there eyes they had an evil teenager who got a knife and went into his sisters room and murdeder her. all they want is some kinnda confetion for wat thereed been told hed done. IF HE WASNT INERCENT (HED DONE IT) THEN NONE OF U WOULD SAY IT WAS BAD. BUT JUST WAT NEEDED TO BE DONE.

  • There was no evidence brah. That's why people are so pissed off at the cops. The cops made up the evidence in order scare the boy into confessing.

  • The cops was not doing their job... infact Crowe's neighbor called 911 after seeing a homeless man who was known to break into houses before the murder happen and with that knowledge the police turn their head toward Michael Crowe anyway. Theres no knife, no kind of evidence pointing toward to Michael in the first place.

Richard Tuite was the murderer a random homeless guy... Theres a film on this if you're curious "The Interrogation of Michael Crowe 2002"

  • they didn't have any evidence that pointed to him, they made it all up to get a confession from him...the cops are stupid cause if they did that with someone who was really guily, they risk that person getting off on a technicality...they should have known better

  • I lol'd at your ignorance.

  • My heart goes out to this poor boy. It's horrifying what they put him through. He was trying to deal with the fact that his sister was dead and they beat him down mentally on top of it. This makes me sick to my stomach.

  • I just want to kick the living crap outta those cops, they should be fired, jailed, and let loose in the general population of the prison, then be accused of stealing bubba's cigarettes and forced into confession. This poor child should be awarded millions of dollars for what they put him thru. NO child should be even ALLOWED to be interrogated without his parents and/or a lawyer present. The law has to be on the books for this, it has to be enforced, and those that break it severely punished.

  • i just got done watching the movie based on this. i can't stand shit like this. so fucked.

  • wats the name of the movie??

  • i think he's referring to 'the interrogation of michael crow' which is a tv movie, i saw it last night on the W network (Y)

  • if you want to see this movie they'll be showing it again on LMN at 2:00pm Eastern Time on Friday. Called the "The Interrogation of Michael Crowe"

  • Yeah i saw it.

  • dude i like that movie...;]

  • @mariah107 i know its kinda hard to remember, but cn u remember what the movie was called?

  • @anonymous9967 "The Interrogation of Michael Crowe"

  • Police don't care about 'truth' or 'justice'. They're just there to do their job and go home at night, and if that means getting a false confession from some innocent person: doesn't matter. The best thing to do if interrogated by the police is just keep quiet and then when you're allowed to speak state that you want a lawyer. Legally they have to end the interrogation once you do that. Don't get sucked into the 'game'.

  • One of the most serious problems in this case was that the boy was a 14 year old juvenile, who should have had a lawyer in the room, while he was being interrigated. His Miranda Rights were so violated in this case.

  • That shit was so wrong what they did to that lil boy

  • The smartest thing to do during police interrogation is to just keep your mouth shut

  • why the hell did people minus 5 you i think you are absolutely correct

  • Its disgusting that our system allows for this type of mental rail roading by our own public servants. The fact is that investigators without clues will concoct their own scenarios and then prove them in a court of law whether its the truth or not. Proven guilty indeed!?

    Question authority people!
