I've never spilled a thing on my laptop keyboards and am very careful. BUT, you still get all kinds of dirt & dust particles and hairs under there. Go ahead and look real closely. When I sold mine I had to remove each keycap by hand and remove what was wrapped around each key's spindle with a tweezer. Oh, and besides all that, if you have dark keys, finger oils & wear will show up over time in the center of each key as a "glossy spot".

One last thing: it's whipser quiet when typing!

Where do u get such protection? Is there for the mouse pad? Ideally Id like ALL of the computer inside extra protection!

doesn't come with this thats for sure! although i wouldn't personally use this anyway, i'm not careless enough to spill stuff on mine-its everyone else thats the risk! lol.
