This is what I'm doing. I have a father, but he's never been there for me. My mom will be giving me away in two years, and I'm going to dance with my mom and grandpa.
my dad is in my life the past few years but my mam has been both my parents for me all my life, so we are having a mother daughter dance at my wedding next year because she deserves that recognition. we are dancing to my girl by the temptations. i love you mama x
It's good to see more women chosing to do a mother-daughter dance. My father just recently came back into my life, so my mom has been my mother and father! She deserves that dance! You both looked so beautiful! Congrats!
@ToniCorrine22 I agree. I think the dance belongs to the parent who deserves it. My mom does everything for me and my siblings, she's does both roles. :)
it makes me so cry tha i know my mom is single parent always there for me and it make me so mad that my dad dont give a damn abt me it really hurt me like tha. I knew I never will experience the first father/daughter with my dad when he aint interest in my life. I hope I will get dance with my future hubby's father first time. I'm glad i saw tha video and im so happy to have my mom in my life and love her so much!
aww my wedding is in 18 days and Im feeling so sentimental knowing I wont have my father daugheter dance. He died when I was 6 yrs old. What I'd give to dance with my father again. I cant help but to cry when I hear this song.
