To the Dummy that says get a DX8, have you seen one in the flesh? What a pice of over priced plastic shite. the DX7 was/is so much better built. I think Spectrum lost the plot when they designed the 8. I waited months and months for the DX8 to arrive eager to replace my DX7, what a waist of time. I've ended up with a HI-TEC Aurora 9, really impressed with build/functionality for the money.

@epimetheus2k10 yes you can - they work for everything that's flying. I have many planes and helis and the most channels I currently use is 6 with my 7 channel Spektrum DX7... You would need a good reason to pay another $1000...
