I'm in agreement with so many of the comments, we're all on the same page when talking about Muse. Even over 10 yrs ago Matt was creating brilliant, mature, and emotionally charged art, and he just gets better and better with lyrics and composing. Performance is off the charts. As a friend once said when first hearing their music: "there's a lot going on there". Understatement of the century.

You can see why matt says he doesnt like this song because its hard to sing. The chorus is very high for him to do in head voice, but he cant do falsetto because then it would completely alter the sound. Just the fact that he was willing to sing this song with such emotion and precision just shows how great of a musician he is. Even the early muse stuff is amazing, and the group should continue to put out great music for years to come.

One of the only bands that puts emotion in all their music. They produce it they way THEY want it, not just to make profit. They are musically genius, I must say muse is the most intelligently composed bands ever. Paul McCartney once said they were the best modern band, and their music is overall superior to ANYTHING ELSE! Muse is so fucking awesome!

Like most people, I just shut up and stare into space when this is playing, Afterwards I go for a cigarette and try to pull myself together before anyone notices. It's like he wipes out any other thoughts in my mind and I stop breathing. Surprisingly, he seems to be totally unaware that he has this effect on people; it can be bloody dangerous when you're driving. I think he's an angel or something, quite a naughty one, though. Gorgeous, mesmerising creature.

@ironvenom33 They are the only band that can sound better live then album though. Some people sound alright live but Muse really takes it to the next level. They try to change it up every show and throw changes to every song which makes it a uniqe show everytime. Unlike some bands who sound bad live and don't do anything to change it up ever. Same songs everytime, same notes, same drum beats, same everything. Nothing is different and it sounds bad. Muse has amazing music that they bring to life
