she really did justice to the character in the original story and to the music and lyrics of webber bar none. the others were passable and entertaining up to a point but she did set the bar on this one. her touch of lunacy , sadness and yearning could not be beat by any other performer.

I loved this WOW Glenn Close is FANTASTIC! I love the costume she is wearing, actually I was thinking she kind of looks like a witch with this robe on, and you can see a little Cruella in there too! LOL but anyway, she is great! she has pretty eyes :)

Well the reason I laugh is because I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE with you. Ms. Close is always so commited to whatever role she plays and her level of submersion in that role is rather uncanny.

no she isn't. its just the video and the audio are out of sync. i highly doubt an actress like Glenn Close would firstly lip sync and secondly do it so obviously out of time
