  • God loves hedonism.

  • Godgle!!! hoo hoo

  • OMS...Oh My Self? if i got it right, then Hilarious!

  • @erikespinoza05 Bingo!!!

  • Very sad episode, but I see no fault in it. Unlimited power, zero uses.

Perhaps, and you may have already, you can have Mr. D playing a video game, getting tired of playing it normally and turning "god mode" on so he can easily get through it... bet you could run with that idea.

  • lol Its always those little things that really get me, like how his mug said What Would Jesse Do?

  • Truthers are the dumbest fucktards on the face of the Earth. Far exceeding the stupidity of any group of idiots that has ever come before them. After talking to one of these fools, a creationist seems stable. At least creationists were born on the same planet! No doubt- I would need a space shuttle to reach such heights of ignorance and stupidity. Truthers can all go fuck themselves sideways, upside down against a wall till they choke to death on thier own vomit.

  • Deity, you bastard!

  • Fate and Destiny have to share an apartment with the chaotic and irish Luck! Wackiness ensues in an all-new sitcom called "Luck, Inevitably!". Thursdays on Fox.

  • "OMS" HAHAHAHA!

  • Magnificent!

  • Here's the two simple reasons the conspiracy falls apart:

    1. You have to believe the US Government is competent.

    2. You have to believe the US Government can keep a secret.

People who really and trully believe in the conspiracy have no choice but to say these two things are true....cripes, they couldn't cover up a Blow Job for more then 24 hours and we're suposed to think they can cover up THIS?!

    really?!?!

  • @TheLastDeity

1 it is very competent when it comes to tight operations, the best in fact (still easy to screw up, just too many factors)

    2. They can't keep a secret because the cat's out of the bag already, but to the majority of the ppl the only thing that would convince them is an official admittance, how hard is it NOT to do that?

dust chemical analysis, cancer rates GZ ffighers, clean cut support beams , freefall building, WTC 7, architect society-911 revision , foreign military experts...

  • @fullfist

dust chemical analysis: by 12 Countries, 36 foreign Government agencys, 106 Independent Labs, Colleges & Research Centers found nothing abnormal.

cancer rates GZ ffighers: Due to toxins from debris

clean cut support beams: myth and disproved

freefall building: shown false in every video of the collapse

WTC 7: all claims shown false

architect society-911 revision: .02% of architects & engineers are members.

foreign military experts: said "..could have" not "it was"

    More?

  • Couldn't He give those four planes flat tires on the runway? Then they wouldn't have taken off.

  • 'What would jesse do' .... LOL

  • lucky bastard lol

  • James 4:17:

"Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin."

So if God has the ability to intervene and prevent human suffering yet doesn't, does He sin?

  • @Discern4 That's a great point, and a terrific little piece of scripture. I have to do something with that in an episode. Thanks!

  • OMS!

  • Godgle, lol

  • Mr. Deity! I'm doing it again: marathoning all your videos. It's 3:30 a.m. and I can't sleep. I donated (step one), but I can't kick the habit.

  • Seriously. "Controlled demolitions"? When everybody in the country SAW those planes crash? The buildings fell because the fire from the planes on which innocent people were killed weakened the support beams. Our government's not perfect, but suggesting that our system's evil enough to kill 3000 innocent people is fucking ridiculous. I hope you tell your theory to the wrong person one day and get the crap kicked out of you

  • @RedVelvet777 I'll second that one!

  • @misterdeity And I'll third it! What those conspiracy nuts don't want their followers to know is... everything. Such as that there's no sound of explosions before the towers fell, you name it, the evidence of a conspiracy is not there! Unless that's just part of the conspiracy, lol!

  • @RedVelvet777 I'm happy to say I'm over my "conspiracy theory" stage. I think it must be a side-effect of being brainwashed by fundies.

  • @AtheistinFundyLand Same here. Conspiracies usually rely on evidence presented very close to the event in question and rarely accept new more comprehensive explanations. I stopped believing the controlled demolition or missile theories when detailed, unbiased computer simulations were done and effectively demonstrated that the sequence of events was entirely consistent with what we all saw happen to the buildings.

  • @RedVelvet777 dude I agree, but to say your government killing 3000 innocent people is fucking ridiculous? Is ridiculous its self. Government has killed millions of innocent

  • @RedVelvet777 I know this was posted 3 months ago, but I wanted to reply anyways. 3,000 architects and engineers have signed a petition calling for a new 911 investigation, and to investigate the collapse of building 7. The victims family members and these architects have started a campaign called rememberbuilding7. They have created two tv ads, the first one already aired on tvs across new york and the second is to air in the next week. The ads are at rememberbuilding7 . org

  • @summertab Sounds something like NCSE's "Project Steve".

  • @RedVelvet777 Amen. And the govt. hardly has the logistical skill to pull off something half as complicated, even if they wanted to.

  • @saurocrat Yeah because they're not doing operations a thousand times more logistically complex now. God why do people use moronic arguments when simple true ones will do?

  • @RedVelvet777 Of course your system's evil enough to kill 3000 innocent people what do you think happened in Dresden? What do you think is happening all over Iraq, Afghanistan and several other places? Do you really think that drug prohibition caused less than 3000 people to get AIDS? As for hoping that someone gets beat up for their opinion that's just evil and stupid. And I say all this knowing that that the truthers are full of it, but not as full of it as you.

  • @RedVelvet777 look it up man. "blueprint for truth", "wtc7 freefall" on youtube. this is no theory. Iron support beams don't melt enough from fire to cause an entire skyscraper to fall in its own footprint.

  • @drumm1n09

Actually, it does, as was admitted by the architect. We are talking about 500-1000°C here, that's enough for the iron support beams being crushed by the weight of the upper floors. They knew this of course and added isolation layers of non-inflammable materials around the beams, but those were blown away by the explosions.

Seriously, conspiracy theorists piss me off. As if we didn't already have enough real problems in the world.

  • @narutofan9999 search: WTC7: NIST Finally Admits Freefall (Part I). watch the video. this is building 7 which was not hit by a plane. the analysis is being done by a physics teacher who submitted questions to NIST which were acknowledged based on his credentials. steel structures don't fall perfectly straight down due to fire. the implications are self evident. these are not conspiracy nuts that don't know what theyre talking about.

  • @drumm1n09 Ah yes they are.

  • @drumm1n09 The steel structures in the WTC fell straight down because they were built that way. With skyscrapers that tall, the architects wanted to guarantee that if they did fall, they wouldn't take out streets and streets of other buildings and create even more casualties. I know that sounds like too much sense to you, but please, just go fuck yourself somewhere else.

  • @proprodigySD good point! :) I'm no expert and I don't claim to be. I'm just sharing my opinion because I thought that's what these comment threads were for but it seems I can't do that without running into people who just want to be pissed off and hurl insults. I don't claim to know what truly happened one way or the other I'm just pointing out evidence. If I'm wrong about it then great! I hope I am wrong and that our government is actually trustworthy. Lets not be counterproductive. Peace!

  • @drumm1n09 The government isn't to be trusted, but conspiracy theories aren't a form of intellectual skepticism, it's the explanation most fraught with logical fallacies. Conspiracy theories, no matter where they are brought up, are counterproductive. And remember, free speech doesn't protect you from being insulted and criticized for your opinion, it only allows you to make them, stupid and ridiculous as they are.

  • @narutofan9999 search: WTC7 in Freefall: No Longer Controversial

  • @drumm1n09

Controversy regarding WTC7 only exists on Cloud 9. Get a grip on reality.

  • @RedVelvet777

I agree! P.s., why aren't comment ratings allowed here?

    This needs 'thumbs up"

  • I hate conspiracy theorists.... How do you explain the dead people? How do you explain all of the people who lost their loved ones? Controlled demolition my ass. This is as offensive as it is disgusting. Dont get me wrong, our government is capable of some damn evil things, but 9/11 wasnt the government you damned idiot. gphhawkins, I loathe you with as much intensity as I can muster. And I dearly hope the deity wipes you off the face of the earth.

  • 2 planes, 3 bulidings, 2 planes hits the towers with explosives in the 3 buildings.

  • @gphhawkins i read that about 5 times...........

  • @azmanabdula ok

  • @gphhawkins you made me read it again...... : )

  • @azmanabdula and why is that :)

  • @gphhawkins funny bugger : )

i still dont know what you mean.......

is it that Mr deity was incorrect about the number of planes......

  • @azmanabdula No, how did u get confused on that, there where 2 planes on 911 BUT 3 building collasped on that that, the 3 one did NOT get hit by a plane but the offical report states that it was takeen down by small litte falling debre and fire, which is impossible all 3 buildings where controled demolitions, all 3 buildings where tested positvie for an highly explosive compound called super thermite.

  • @gphhawkins dude i am an Australian.......i never really looked into 9/11......

    but thanks for the information.......

so who was it.........Muslims or your own national guard........?

    -Peely

  • @azmanabdula it was islamic extremest working with the usa gov. to use 911 as a false flag attack so when can u that as a means of justification of war on iraq/iran, also for passing something called the patriot act, which is bad for us. if u want more info pm me!

  • @gphhawkins oh ive heard of this........

easiest way to start a war.......is make everyone feel threatened.....

    aka "terrorism"

the US government is full of weird people.... : ) cheers mate

    -Peely

  • @azmanabdula yup :3

  • @azmanabdula ignore him. He's as much of a wack-job conspiracy theorist as people who believe in bigfoot, aliens, a faked moon landing and any god.

  • @stiimuli make the population happy... : )

    hows it going...........

  • @gphhawkins

Do some research man, it was a lot more than 'small little debris'. And it wasn't a total collapse, in fact it's very impressive that so much of it survived.

  • Yes. Bob in Accounting. Save him.

  • I looooooove this mug !!!

  • This is one of my favorites. It's really well done and clever, and both Deity and Larry are spot on. Plus, I love the hair on both.

  • Larry's desperate bargaining kind of struck a nerve with me. It makes me sad to wonder how many grieving family members were asking questions like this after 9/11.

  • I feel bad laughing about it, but the fly on eyeball part made my giggle a little..

  • @xGauntletx It's a guilty pleasure of mine as well.

  • I must say, I really admire the amount of detail on Godgle!

  • @DragonSporks Thanks. I really did put a tremendous amount of time into that thing. And it's only on for a couple of seconds. Now I know how animators feel!

  • @misterdeity lol i want to use godgle because i like the pun and google is so boring. the colors dont help. was it just an animation?

  • @geasscanceler16 Unfortunately, yes. It is just an animation. Sorry.

  • @misterdeity but... your the deity! why in the name of you isnt this a real search engine?

    lol

  • @misterdeity

knew I should have taken web design...

  • @misterdeity "I'm feeling providential" - sweet!

  • Godgol... I always thought he used Yawaw (Yahoo)

  • Ouch, this episode hurt!

  • you guys deserve a show on HBO or Showtime

  • I respect you guys so much for going into this territory... It is so hypocritical how christians can use God as a miracle worker and "live saver" but not taker... keep up the great and terrific work..... by the way I really enjoy the writing of these episodes they are very clever

  • This is the most dangerous territory you guys have ever strayed into. I thought you did an amazing job. "No matter where I am, they find me. It's a MIRACLE!" Very cool.

  • This is the most dangerous territory you guys have ever strayed into. I thought you did an amazing job. "No matter where I am, they find me. It's a MIRACLE!" Very cool.

  • "why do you think i got the kilt pressed?"

    classic

  • Yeah this is edgy, but very good. 40,000 people died on 9/11 because of infectious or parasitic diseases. To be fair, Larry should have lost more sleep over those equally horrible deaths.

  • Lucky mee. Im not you! You o you! huuuum

  • "OMS"

  • @funkalunatic That's what I was thinking lol! I'm going to use that from now on.

  • "when the shitake mushrooms hit the fan"

so glad Mr. Deity doesn't take himself too seriously.

  • They called it a miracle when the nearby church didn't get demolished. I called it physics. Waka waka! Science wins again. :) Love your show!!!!! Why hasn't HBO picked you up yet?

  • Regarding the discussion about who the Holy Ghost is and Larry - I thought Larry was the archangel Micheal? His functions in the first season mirrored that of the presentation of Michael in a certain Mormon ceremony.

  • You should really try to get a pilot for HBO or BBC.

  • I like the cup :D

  • What does the Godgle screen say, "I'm feeling providencial"?

  • I think its especially funny that its such a hot topic in america, like, everyone lost a close person in that buildings over the entire USA ?? I really dont get it. If the same thing would happen here in europe, why should I even bother to not use it as a comparison for godjustice ? Its especially THOSE accidents that should everyone make not only morn the dead but also kick in some thoughts. I guess its more easy to say its the devil (against omnipotent god) and shun the thoughtprocess...bliss

  • @lezvarthok Or say it happened in... Serbia... every year of so... right?

  • boring

  • Heavy episode. I wouldn't touch this with a ten foot pole but you managed damn well considering the subject.

  • @mikeyman211 It was dangerous territory. And I got quite a few people angry at me -- many of them canceled their Mr. D subscriptions (financially, not YouTube). I was never making fun of the actual event, only people's reactions thereto. It amazes me how obtuse people can be -- claiming that God saved this person or that person, and never realizing that the upshot of that is that God DIDN'T save any of the people who perished. That's hurtful stuff to the friends and families of those who died.

  • @misterdeity I know exactly what you mean. It makes a mockery of this idea of a cosmic just-ness. Such arbitrary death and suffering. It's like people winning a game of football and then crediting Jesus with the win thereby also crediting Jesus with the other team's loss except this wasn't a game, it was an act of jihad.

  • @mikeyman211 I can't imagine saying it any better. Well done.

  • @mikeyman211

Well said, that is why I made it clear who I am supporting during the football world cup.

    God

  • @misterdeity Oh, you have got to be kidding. People canceled their Mr. Deity subs?? It amazes me sometimes that people who SHOULD be smart will totally misunderstand some bit of satire or parody and lose it like that. I've got otherwise "smart" atheists on my Facebook page (Chuck E. Jesus) who occasionally don't get something satirical I post, and I'm just left scratching my head. I expect that from fundies...but atheists??

  • What WOULD Jesse do?

  • He could give the planes mechanical issues that prevent liftoff...

Hell, I could (and, if I knew about the intended use of the planes, would) do that, if given access.

  • Hehehe! Just great...

  • "Peter's got guard duty" ROFL

  • to makers of Mr Deity:

whoever you are and where ever you are, you are brilliant! this is such deeply hilarious satire, i did not know that it even existed on this level. bravo bravo bravo!

  • "OMS Larry"

  • UHauhauuahua What would Jesse do?

  • For once..the laughing stucked in my throat....

  • what would Jesse do? hahhahahahha

  • "Fulani". How did you come up with this name? It's interesting if you picked this randomly, because the word means "somebody" (as in somebody important that matters) in Persian.

  • Speechless. Great episode.

  • I still wanna see Fate make an appearance, played by Felicia Day. I'm trying to figure out where Fate would fit in the context of this world. Would she be a paper pusher like Jimbo? She has to do all the leg work of making things happen but doesn't have any real power and resents The Deity cuz of it? Wouldn't that kinda make her a peer of Jimbo? Maybe Fate & Lucy gossip a lot and Fate's the reason Lucy almost takes over Heaven at one point only to end up doing fung shui to hell.

  • Wow. At first I was offended. Then I was hurt. Then I was a little touched. This may be one of then best episodes I've ever seen.

  • @worloq what offended, what hurt, and what touched you?

  • Awesome!!

  • "What would Jesse do?"

  • By far the best episode!

Script and performance are just sublime. =)

  • "godgle"! lol!

  • Haha! "Oh you're serious, like what?"

I love that shit. And Peter has guard duty, awesome.

  • "I just need you to swing during his back swing"

God is such an asshole holy shit.

It's the way you say it.

    It's brilliant.

  • This reminded me of the run of the mill Corp Executive talking to his gofer and showing that all he cares about is winning his next golf round....at any cost, including cheating, as they all do.

  • brillo, subbed

  • people always ask that when the shiitake mushrooms hit the fan!

    hahaha!!

  • I'm playing catch up with this thing. Seasons 1 & 2 were hilarious; after that most of em are sukin. this one was good enough for the most part, funny even, but a cruel funny that dosen't seem to fit as well here.

  • Red's suggestion is awesome... make it so!!!

  • Hey Mr. Diety

Why don't you do a take on the U.S.A. dropping the Atomic Bomb on Japan or The U.S.A. shooting down the airliner in the gulf.

  • fly landing on her eyeball, love it

  • AHAHAHAH!

  • Why do you think I got the kilt pressed - LOL!

  • "I just need you to sneeze on his backspin"

    LOL!

  • excellent satire. :)

  • "Godgle." LOL.

  • The way Mr. Deity off-handedly refutes apologist arguments is beautiful - "that's sick, man". Highlighting the absurdity, true satire. Thank you.

  • 9/11 god joks are not funny if he did anything there gose free will

  • more bs self-contradiction... do you know how many times god allegedly intervened in man's deeds according to the bible? do you know what "divine intervention" even means? you just can't have it both ways.

  • so says the christian who prays

  • So, the people killed on 9/11, how exactly did they get to use their free will?

  • So, when Jesus raised the dead, did THAT put an end to "free will"? What's the rule, god can save one here, one there, so you should believe in him, but he can't save more than a handful, or else "free will" is at an end? Have you thought this out?

  • So God doesn't exist because 9/11 happened? Right, it's just parody.

  • yep... a parody of ppl like you.

  • Nope, he has to misrepresent things to make it work.

  • Such as????

  • It's a very old argument but still a valid one: As there is evil in the world God either does not exist or God is evil himself or God does not care.

The only answer religious people have for this problem is "free will".

But of course there cannot be such a thing as free will if God has created mankind. Creation can never be free from the creator.

  • The easiest, and therefor most correct answer, is that god doesn't exist.

  • Creation is not free from the Creator. That is why there is a place called hell for all those that think they are.

  • Response to rrmajiros: so you believe in an all powerful being who will torture people for eternity for thinking the wrong thoughts? He won't give us much evidence for his existance, but if you don't believe he'll put you into a fire and keep you there for ever...? mmm, I reckon if there is a god who created hell, then he's more nasty than any human has ever been.

  • @rrmajiros I would never burn one of my children. No matter what they did to me.

Why do the churches only talk about the sweet parts of religion? Until they are questioned. Then they say, "That is why there is a place called hell for all those that think ..."

If I am the child of such a monster, there is no power I have to overcome it. I have not seen any evidence of a god or God, or soul, so I don't worry about such things anymore.

  • very good

  • This is merely fantastic!

  • Rescue me is a great show.

  • I absolutely love the Lou/Tommy thing. It's me and Jimbo!

  • hahaha you areee useless

  • Wonderful! Thank you. Humor may very well be the best way to educate people about their closely held beliefs.

  • Another great video, Mr.D. Loved the "Godgle" screen, especially the "I'm Feeling Providential" button, and the "Find Jesus" link at the top. Thanks for helping people think their way past their blind faith. Reason rules!!

  • Shouldn't it be OMZ? For oh my Zeus. Or oh my satan is OMS?

    Personally I like OMZ better.

  • I think OMS is "Oh My Self"

  • Tackling 9/11 was risky, but it needs to be done if we are to decrease the odds of it happening again. Thanks Mr. D, et al

  • Absolutely fucking hilarious!

  • OMS. Genius. Awesome as usual Mr. D.

  • Bravo!!! One of your best episodes. Keep up the great work.

  • Absolutely brilliant! Based on the comments, it appears that your goal of maximally exposing cognitive dissonance has been a success. How anyone can believe in an omniscient, omnipotent, and omnibenevolent "god" with the amount of "evil" you have so eloquently highlighted is beyond me.

  • I hadn't heard of the show before today. A friend linked to this episode on twitter.

On the basis of this episode alone: this looks like a great show. Well done.

I'll be checking out some more.

  • I love it!!!!! When is PZ going make an apearance?

P.S. Inkadove's comment really makes a good point about theists (accidentaly). Can't see the evidence when it's right fucking there. Jesus fucking Christ. Really, halfway through the third season and just now noticing that Mr. Diety is a total dick. lmfao

  • I absolutely love this. Really awesome... I Found you a few months back. Then I saw you on PZ blog again. I really like it... I wish I never 'lost contact'. Where do I paypal donations or how do I help?

I guess I will check a main website.

    -Tony

  • So I subscribed and have thought your work was funny since season one. All a big joke, right? Now I wonder if you have other motives here. Not just to be funny, but to ridicule God, religion, and faith in general. If that is the goal, not humor, then I no longer want to encourage these videos by subscribing or watching them - funny as they may be. Do you have an agenda with these videos? Your previous comments lead me to believe yes.

  • I take it that until now you were completely missing the point behind the humor. Good work, you figured it out.

  • My agenda has been the same since episode 1 (Mr. Deity and the Evil) --- to enlighten, to make people thing think, to entertain and make people laugh. I'm astonished that THIS is the episode to make people question my motives and suspect some nefarious agenda. Right in episode ONE, I had Mr. Deity heartlessly allowing holocausts, the torture of babies, childhood cancer, and Celine Dion.

  • Especially Celine Dion . . . .

  • But apparently millions being killed in gulags/concentration camps, 250,000 people being wiped out in a completely unnecessary tsunami, children dying of cancer, or people having to suffer the song stylings of that chest-beating Canuck doesn't bother people. This is exactly the point of this episode! Mr. Deity allows all kinds of evil, but people irrationally think 9/11 deserved special attention because it happened here on American soil, and because it was OUR firefighters that died this time.

  • My agenda is this: I believe that the most dangerous words in any language are, "It cannot be reasoned with." The great evils of history are fueled by dogma and/or ideology. From the crusades and the inquisition, to the holocaust and the killing fields, to 9/11 and suicide bombings, dogma and ideology have compelled people to do unspeakable things to their fellow human beings. I believe these episodes have been pretty transparent, and I'm not sure why or how you got any other idea.

  • If you feel that you can no longer support this show, I respect your decision. And I would ask everyone who is reading this thread and agrees with me to do the opposite and help support the cause of reason and a really good laugh.

  • bravo. well said. you go MD

  • That was brilliant. I really hope it gets at least one believer to think beyond his blind faith and to realize how absurd it really is.

  • Comment removed

  • Yet another brilliantly funny episode. Way to go guys!

  • I love you guys.

    I love Mr. Deity.

But I just don't think it is funny to make fun of the attacks.

I am sorry, but I am not watching this one.

    Really sorry.

    love.

    Rui

  • It's not making fun of the attacks at all. It's a demonstration of how people think irrationally about a supreme being and how they justify his absence when terrible things happen. It's also about how their justifications put such a being (should one exist) in the horrible position of having to save one person but not another, as if that doesn't make such a being entirely capricious.

  • I was a little worried when it started to sound like the attacks; that you guys were going to be saying something a little too insensitive. But you were tactful, I must say. Another great answer to a hard question!

"You are useless Larry, but not to me."

  • You guys are amazing...Godgle..OMS...logistics...shitake mushrooms...sneeze in his back swing...
