People use variations of the word Pass as an avoidance of "the D-word". This is mostly out of fear. The euphemisms that really bother me are the ones used for animals, to try to make it sound like we don't kill them. "Put to sleep" is prettty bad, and "Put down" is particularly horrible.
Man... I always hold James Randi in the highest regard, like, always. It's really weird for me to see him being.. well, human. Man's my hero. It's like seeing your dad cry or something.
James would never sell those dolls! All the woowoo (i mean voodoo) people would just keep stabbing them with needles! And his laughter at the idea might keep him awake at night :)

I've always hated the expression 'passed away' but the phrase that grates on me even more is 'passed on'. Passed on to what?

Well... I had to stop filming and help out Randi. I have very long and narrow fingers, so as a team we were able to fix the doll.
