  • control the damn camera

  • how do you do this? i have an rc f117 nighthawk and i want to put 1 or 2 rockets on it

  • @TheCamFactor how they make the missile system?

  • Does the cameraperson have epilepsy? or parkinsons?

  • I wanted to see the rocket but I also wanted you to keep the camera on the plane, I thought it might rip the wing off!

  • FUCKING WOMAN

  • @Jonathanfroglegs11 hahahahahahahaha

  • Shitty photography etc!

  • whats with the camerman, or woman

  • Now I understand why she's the EXgirlfriend.

  • This is not a good idea at all.

  • ive tried getting my sister to film something similar with the same result...they just dont have any idea about framing a shot and what they're actually filming.

  • @dan110024 Really, think about it, how many great films were either directed or filmed by women? They just don't have the gene for it.

  • @ReliableSunPower well im certainly not trying to disagree with you but right when i read that i thought of one movie, the hurt locker, that was directed by a chick. whether you think thats a good movie is up to you though.

  • @ReliableSunPower yeah when i was testing a home built model rocket, i had my sister and my mom film it in case someone messed up their filming, guess what? they both said their cameras were recording and after the launch i found out that neither of them were. But my dad always does a great job by himself filming my rocket launches.

  • @Finnrocketman It really is nice to get a male to operate the camera. Then you can do what you need to do without the distraction of wondering if the video will turn out. LOL

  • does anyone have any idea on how he remotely fires the rockets??

  • HAHA, she sounded really excited.

Sounds like my G/F. Not to happy with my hobby of model planes.

  • @darrenmcgarry100 "I can't believe my boyfriend builds remote control hovercraft toys" is a common phrase I hear.

  • Great stuff! did you use Estes rocket parts as I did? I made some 2 stage ultra lightweight rockets went around 3,000 prob more feet vertically.

  • @wind4watts Yup, I think it was a B sized engine.

  • Who loves short shorts?

  • hey camera guy,

    you suck

  • How did you ignite the rocket remotely?

  • now all you need is a huge RC aircraft carrier...

  • @ryanrr254 That's been a dream of mine.

  • I think its really awesome that they actually shot a rocket from an RC plane but......no BOOM?

  • @ryanrr254 If you want a boom click on the "This is a video response" video F-4 Phantom Shot Down By Toy Model RC Airplane w/toy Rocket!!!!

  • @ReliableSunPower thanks!

  • camera fail, person holding the camera!!!!!!!!!!!

  • im working on designs for a battle plane. can you share the rocket design and whats around it. maybe make a vid for me

  • a heavier camera is much easy to handle

  • Nice but too much epic shake cam

  • all i got to say is tripod

  • You just gave terrorism a 4th point of vew :D

  • Your first mistake was having a woman take this video. She should have been opening beers instead.

  • @HappySCVResident She would have screwed that up too. Ask 'em to do one simple freakin thing.

  • @ReliableSunPower True. It would have been such a great vid too.

  • The lady filming sounds as amazed as I was.

  • 51 ants died that day

  • With all those fancy toys, you might want to invest into a 6 dollar wooden tripod for that shaky worthless camera work.

  • Poor camera work, ya gota practice man, develop a technique.

  • bad camra work

  • waaaoooww..

  • Believe it or not this is extremely legal in the UK.

  • Was the woman rubbin it out, or what?!?!

  • he dude look at that it has missles little rc plane OMG DUDE RUN A MISSEL IS COMING AT US .... missel knocks him out :P

  • @h3h3h3h3he There's a really funny video where an RC helicopter hits the cameraman with a rocket.

  • @ReliableSunPower whats it called?

  • @Reesesjake Radio controlled attack helicopter attacks man.

  • @h3h3h3h3he

    Hi,

schu dir mal meinen Raketenwerfer an.....

"rc heli Raketen im T rex 600 scale Abschuß mit Signalstift"

  • hahaha ja fiz melhor eu tenho 2 acças militares de brinquedo ai eu e meu colega decidimos radicalizar agente boto missil q fazia fogo explodia com fogo ai eu atirei no meu colega e acertei a asa kk ele caiu + dps agente concerto e até hj fika lutando com misseis :D

  • They didn't had image stabilizing back then. Rocket is so cool. What happened afterwards with it

  • @wojteknavan Couldn't find it or the other one afterwards.

  • Super Video, Reliable SunPower!!!!! And best wishes with my video from Germany ...

  • @MrRheingold That's a nice jet you've got.

  • lol that girl is like go fuck your self.... wow

  • What did you use on board to ignite the rocket?

  • @AAASTINGRAY Standard estes ignitor with 9v battery connected via remote switch.

  • way to give the camera to a chick, einstein.

  • @thundercracker2003 Best hater comment ever!!!!

  • Cool

  • Okay, thank you

  • That was cool, have you ever thought of putting multiple rockets on it?

  • @RusskieHunter13 No, this was a long time ago. I don't currently have a plane. There is an awesome video on Youtube with a helicopter with multiple missiles. I think it is called helicopter attacks cameraman.

  • retard cameraman(girl)

  • who is that retard holding that camera?

  • @y512516 My Ex-girlfriend.

  • @ReliableSunPower

No wonder you broke up with her

Good thing you wore condoms huh

  • @ReliableSunPower good thing you dumped that camera holding failure no offence if you still love her

  • that was simply amazing coll ill sub you

  • @Ericmarc1 Thanks :)

  • 2 things nice shorts n whoh im dizzy...

  • Now the terrorists have gained super awesome RC plane bombing technology, Nice going.

  • @MrBlueblazed Do you really think they haven't thought of this already? Besides, what can they possibly do with a little tiny estes rocket? They already suck at shooting, mortaring and rocketing...... I just don't think there is a real applicable purpose even if the wanted to....

  • could you explain me, how do you make the wireless connection to ignite the rockets?

  • @mrlipux It's not a wireless connection. It is simply a standard battery to igniter wire connection with aligator clips broken by an on/off switch toggled by a servo.

  • @daveed793 No, the missile system was entirely seperate. It was merely a little 9V battery.

  • Nice to see you flying a real classic.

My dad and I did that in 1976, shooting from a Sig Kommander with Enya 45, and Kraft Sport Series radio. Two rockets, one slung under each wing. In our case, the covering was Coverite, with Perfect Paint. No charring there, either.

No videos, of course. We didn't have an 8mm video camera.

That was before it was made illegal by AMA.

So, how do you cover yourself for liability? I hope you're not at the Torrey Pines Gulls field. They're AMA.

  • @boulderdsvo No, gliders were never my thing. This is an old video but ironically, not due to the rocket, I damaged a car with that plane the same day as my other video which is a response to this video. My homeowners insurance covered the $800 dent in the person's minivan.

  • ya wow the girl with the camera is retarted

  • @blankslate3 We just broke up so now I can actually find a lot of humor in these comments.

  • Great job

  • So I've always wondered... what does the rocket motor do to the monocote?

  • @mormon97 Excellent question. It actually didn't do anything other than leave a residue. As I recall that plane is a solid core wing so more mass dissipates more heat than an open rib wing would. Also, there is 70MPH of airflow taking even more heat away and the actual exposure is a split second.

  • don't let the chick hold the camera ever!

  • There could be some questions about the legality of that (rocket launch angle) ... but there can be no question about the cool factor. Well done.

  • nice legs!

  • put a camera on it so its like being in the cockpit, THAT would be awesome

  • There are some other videos where people have done that and it is really cool.

  • @maxbie123 check out "Cybrown" youtube channel, he did just that

  • amature filmer....get a tripod if you cant hold the damn camera steady

  • Just fast forward to 1:01...

  • the chik in the background was like..... wow =='

  • ncie mustang

  • pretty launch!!! more smoke!!

  • first gen MQ-9 reaper lol, but that was pretty cool

  • Hope he doesnt fly under AMA!!!

  • Nope!

  • LMAO She sounded thrilled "wow" LMAO

  • with all RC videos its always some retarded girlfriend that zooms in too much on the camera, ffs each your bitch how to film

  • noo you just gave me an idea with my RC airplane

  • Holy-Terrorist:>*=* cool

  • cool very cool

  • Very Nice !!! I've always wanted to do that, good to see it actualy done here :) thanks for posting

  • lol

    WOW

  • "WOW!"

    Exactly!

Were you riding a rodeo bull while you were filming this??

    Nice concept, with the rocket.

  • seriously fire the woman operating the camera, she sucks.

  • Fire the camerawoman ! LOL JK

  • calmato 40 ? xD

  • awesome!

  • Cool I liked!

  • Glad you did, thanks for checking it out.

  • 2 rockets fpv camera + a city recipe for disaster

  • that was pretty damn sweet man.

  • with these things war will be coming like a game

  • ive got the same rocket and a rc gas plane but how do you luanch the missle of the plane wireless???????????? please reaply!!!!!!!!!!

  • Run a wire from a 9 volt battery to the ignitor. On the positive wire put a simple on/off switch and use a free channel to use a servo to trip the switch.

  • you shouldve given the camera to someone that know how to hold one steady.

  • Check out my other video of my RC plane launching a missile. It is much more stable, same camerawoman.

  • You should have said fox 2 fox 2

  • you should have yelled target acquired before yelling fire.

  • FOX FOX FOX!!!

  • lol. what was that stuff in the missile? it looked like SILLY STRING

  • Not silly string, that was a standard Estes rocket with a shock cord and a wrapped parachute. Of course we didn't find the rocket afterwards but it was a slim chance that we would recover it and reuse it.

  • oh. so the parachute goes off after you launch it?

  • Yes, those model rocket engines have a burn stage and then a small explosive charge which pops the nosecone off deploying the little parachute.

  • walmart in the toy dept under 5 bucks

  • FUCKIN SWEET! lucky the plane did not crash because its over weight.

  • I was surprised that it didn't affect the flight characteristics at all. Check out the guy who launches multiple rockets from a PTS Mustang. This video is old, I take credit for being one of the first, but his looks awesome.

  • STOP SHAKING!!!

  • lady: "wow..."

    hahahaha

  • how did you get it to launch

  • How do you do that?

  • Estes model rocket, rocket engine, and a servo flipping an on/off switch. The engine ignites when current is passed through a little sparkler ignitor.

  • Er...so can you explain how the current ignites this...is there shock sens material? What is a servo? sorry, I just have been trying to do this for a while.

  • A servo is basically what moves the rudder and such on r/c planes and helicopters. Basically an electric 'piston' of sorts...it moves up and down.

Estes rockets have little igniter pieces that stick inside of the rocket engine material (which has a hole pre-dilled through it when you buy them). The material heats up when the battery current runs through it, and it ignites the rocket engine.

  • servos something electric movin up down or side to side usually used to pull throttles on r.c toys or in r.c planes to move aristers

  • hold the cam still!

  • Give him a break. It's hard to get a steady shot using just your hand when you're filming an object from the sky.

Advice ReliableSnPower:- Use a tripod next time.....

  • tripods are too hard to follow objects moving at those speeds in the sky, unless you are not zoomed at all. You must use a 2nd hand to stabilize the cam, or a shoulder mounted broadcast like quality cam

  • Thanks. I might remind everyone that I was flying the plane, not filming it.
