  • This or Tempest Evo

  • @beddowNbedford this. i have both and tempest evo is one of the most overrated casing.

  • can i buy this case with another/no sidewindow?

  • I'm building my first PC with this mother-f-er! Sexy ass case!

  • Nice case, but maybe you guys should get a native English speaker to proof read things ;)

  • Holy fuck, I thought the alienware cases were sexy. I can't wait to set this monster up

  • Just ordered this bitch. You have no idea how excited I am.

    Haha

  • Excellent case, excellent video and EXCELLENT music.

  • i just ordered one ! can't wait to unbox it !!!!

  • It's so innovating, that it doesn't even fit Standard watercooling! Good job :)

  • @dharkbizkit Only noobs try to watercool with a mid tower case. rofl

  • @Scott97169 If you say so... by choosing the word, you disqualified in my books.

  • @Scott97169 so, it turns out that most pro overclockers and modders are nubes according to your statement. very interesting.

  • @tubehiki Sorry to break it to you but the pros only watercool with full tower case because the pros watercool their entire system and not just the processor. They need all the space they can get to fit those radiators.

  • @Scott97169 u can install the h50 with this case...bigdaddy

  • @Scott97169 sorry to break it to you, but you're a total noob if you say so. there a lot of videos and work-logs of middle-tower cases fully water-cooled including the ram and even the power-supply out there.

  • Nice case, but the back 120mm should have been led too.

  • hello, can I install a bequiet purepower 530w in this without any additional cables (to increase length)?

  • I love the engrish in this. "Mat" black finish. lol. Still a sick case though

  • It seems the space is tight for the news ati radeon hd 5870 cards or nvidia 400 series cards. Does anyone know if these card will actually fit comfortably in this case? Thanks.

  • If I install 38mm fans in the 25mm fan slots, will there be any issues with internal/external protrusion blocking anything?

  • Defiantly getting this case for my next build

  • do the fans come with speed controllers?

  • This looks like an amazing case for the price, my question is will this case keep two 5770 radeons in crossfire configuration cool?

  • can you install a h50 on the back?

  • It isnt the ultimate gaming case without a handle.! nice anyway!

  • Hey lian li. I have a quesiton. If I switched one of the exhaust fans on the top to an intake fan, would it further benefit the cooling? Seeing as how there is only one intake, I was a little worried. Also, i wanted to put intake filters on the top if I did switch one exahust fan into an intake.

  • Porno intro music makes me want the case even more.

  • Will an Antec CP- 850W fit in the PSU drive bay and be able to be strapped to the place?

    //mmacritic

  • Will an Antec CP- 850W fit in the PSU drive bay and be able to be strapped to the place?

    //mmacritic

  • Will an Antec CP- 850W fit in the PSU drive bay and be able to be strapped to the place?

    //mmacritic

  • wat psu are u using with this??

  • i have the same case and i love it !

  • Will an Asus Rampage 3 extreme motherboard, with a Prolimatech Megahalems CPU cooler and an ATI 5879 or ATI 5979 video card fit in this case?

  • Tool-less and anti-vibration rubber is the key

  • I'm going to buy this case soon but with the optional transparent side panel that can house 2 140mm fans, model: W-KM2AB-7. I was just wondering if this optional side panel has dust filters included.

  • Hi i want to purchase this case. Is it possible too mount another 120mm on the front of the case above the existing one?

  • Great case, I have the Red Dragon edition.

  • NOW IT'S THIS HAF 922 OR TEMPEST EVO!

  • This hands down

  • :O I wish i bought this and not the haf 922, just because of all the feautures. Fan filters, front panel is removable, panited interier, looks like an awsome case!

    O well.

  • i have haf 922 and HD 5870 in it. :) its nice

  • Can't wait till I get mine!

  • can i change the fans on the top to 120mm without problems?

  • sorry, the top fan mounting holes are designed for 140mm fans

  • @lianlicasing k, thanks for the answer. awesome case btw.

  • can this case fit msi 6970 ????

  • @XxF1orixX You can buy 140mm -> 120mm fan brackets to do this, and it shouldn't cause a problem. Performance-PCs has them for $5 apiece.

  • I have another question about this case, which I truly have fallen in love with.

One of the top case fans (140mm w/blue LED) have started to make a rumbeling sound a few days ago. When I slightly push down at the center "circle" of the noisy fan while it is running, the rumbeling stops completely.

What can be causing this annoying sound? Almost seems like the fan isn't evenly balanced or something. Thank you for replying! :)

But still, an amazing bargain of a product!

  • @norkstomte: you have answered your own question - this isn't rocket science, just replace that fan. :-)

  • @simonshusse: But I want to fix it, not buy a new one :) I mean, it came with the case, brand new, only a week ago... If it's not possible to fix in any way, I want Lancool/Lian Li to ship me a new one!

But I don't know much about fans, so I thought I'd ask. :)

  • Most ppl I know always replace the stock fans as soon as they get the case to get improved airflow and reduce fan sound. If you want a new fan from the vendor then go for it but if you want lots of cool silent air go for fans from Noctua, Scythe or Fractal.

  • I know. I was actually planning to do so because of the LEDs, but the fans are actually quite quiet! And my system is more than cold enough.

But since you mention it, do you know if the 140mm Fractal Design fans will be enough (as 2 top exhaust and 1 front intake) when they only run at 600rpm and push 66 m³/h? Right now my case fans are running on 700-1000rpm. But Fractals 9 dB(A) is pretty tempting. Noctua is good and expensive, but they're just so damn ugly! :)

  • id say go with noctua and pop some lights in your case to compensate for the ulgy fans.

  • i think the fan is disconnecting with the motor

  • text goes way to fuckin fast

  • The music is funny.

  • can i add a ssd on this

  • You can install a SSD on the hard drive tray but it requires 2 screws i think.

  • yes, the HDD tray can hold 2.5" HDD, but you need to secure it with 4 screws

  • I ordered this case only a few hours ago. Really excited to check it out.. Will make a video and tell you how it is, since I'm ordering the Microsoft Lifecam Cinema as well. The video will mainly be about sound dampening properties and how installing sound dampening mats will affect both noise and temperatur issues. Will also review the Scythe Grand Kama Cross CPU-cooler for LGA1156.

I'm really eager to know if the fans' LEDs can be switched off, though.. Does anybody know?

  • the fan LED can't be switched off, sorry

  • Thank you for the info!

Must say I am quite surprised... Guess I have to buy 4 fans as well then. This should definately have been an option.

  • @norsktomte : can this case fit msi 6970 ????

  • im getting 1 next week :D

    the K-26 Darkice

    its looks realy cool

  • I am having a hard time deciding between this and a NZXT Tempest Evo. :|

  • Those cases are so ftw

  • Quality may be still alright inside, I just don't like their new general direction of cheaper cases for the younger gaming crowd. SOme models I like but I used to like most of them not just a few of them... Matter of taste really. Like having some or not :p

  • They may look cheap (different style of design for their Lancool series) but certainly have not dumbed down the quality what so ever.

  • This video is a little too fast and the freaking techno music is annoying. BUt I might buy that model, which the video did help in informing me about.

  • nice vid !

very much information. gonna 2 buy it ;)

  • this get 5 stars!

  • excellent price aswell.

  • hi are the fans silence?

  • Actually your wrong - read all the webs Raven 2 reviews and you will see that while its a great case - its cooling performance is far worse than cases like this one and offerings from Coolermaster (HAF and Sniper series). The problem with the Raven is that there is too much blocking the top area that prevents proper exhaust. The small top fan can't keep up even if you install a more powerful one. All the cables clutter it up.

  • I think hot air don't need many fans on the top, it's going up anyway and the 3 big fans on the bodem are pushing the hot air up. There are many openings on the top. Please send me the Link for those reviews. All the reviews i know, they say that ist the best case for air cooled systems. Sory for my english. I can explain it much better in german

  • Hot air moving upwards isn't the same as hot air being sucked upwards. Hot air being sucked out of a case causes negative pressure and therefore surpassing the flow of naturally moving air...

  • Today i installed my hardware in this case, its so easy i love it!

  • @PBskill

Hey man will a ATI 5870 fit in your case?

    Id appreciate,

    Thanks!

  • Yes, a 5870 will fit fine.

    :-)

  • A 5870 will fit in it.

  • @PBskill

You should make a video review

  • I'm going to have sexual intercourse with this case. :D

  • lol

  • would 2 nvidia geforce gtx 295 fit in there

  • crzy case!

  • Matte*

  • Anyone know if you would be able to fit a 30mm thick radiator in the top instead of the fans?

  • iam taking the k62 in two weeks

for my new pc :) :)

  • How big is it in dimension?

  • 214mm x 496mm x 498mm (W, H, D)

  • PC-K62 It's my future case :D

  • good on you, mate!

  • what motherborrt is that? looked crazy

  • it is a Asus motherboard

  • I-7 965 Extreme Gaming PC, Fan And LCD MODS

  • made in taiwan....."from kids,for kids"

  • Kid, go home....

  • ? i have the same one at home and its great if you dont understand a joke than its your problem

  • sorry, I was not understand that is a Joke

  • It's 89 Euros here.

  • Getting this tomorrow. 109€ shipped to my front door. <3

  • The thumbscrews on the mobo are awesome. good design there.

  • I prefer this before the mini-haf, 100%! A lot cooler with blue leds and it's so much better looking than mini-haf, I think!

  • I heard a lot of complaints about the build quality of these lancool cases. Lots of people having stress cracks in their window, or broken drive bays etc. Sad because it looks like a solid case otherwise. I wish they would just keep the regular square window though, the dog bone shape just looks stupid.

  • I think I'm gonna get the new Corsair case in stead.

  • In mine the power supply tooless strap snapped into two pieces, where it pivit's with what looks like two rivits. Also my HDD shorted out on the HDD cage base. After contacting Lian Li the reply was "it wasn't broken in transit and was broken in use & therefore not covered under warranty" I even supplied photo's. I hope your luck is better than mine?

  • I´m making a new Computer and I´m doubting between this case and Nox Coolbay HX

  • How much is it?

  • Around the $150 AU mark

  • $119.99 USD

  • How many euros have buy this case ? sorry for my bad english

  • Really good case. Unforunately it's only sold at 2 (!) webshops in The Netherlands. All the big retailers sell Lian Li, Antec.. etc.. but not this great LanCool case. I really like the screwless design, the airflow and all of that for a reasonable price.

Lian Li should really try to get this case on the shelves everywhere.

And maybe come up with better design (estheticly) and a better name (Dragonlord is too cheesy)/marketing for future cases. The products are great.

  • In Denmark we only got 1 webshop.. and it's not a good one :( (Pixmania)

  • An amazing case with very poor marketing. Both the name and the logo are hideous.

Case has an amazing design with lots of good rubber use/sound dampening. The tooless design actually works which is a bonus. Good price. The only negative ive heard is that the construction quality can be a bit iffy.

Lancool is a subsidary of LianLi apparently, so it makes sense that its a great case.

Come on Lancool, get some better marketing guys and maybe make the cases less cheap looking while you're at it.

  • Oh should probably mention, no offence to the guys who did the video media. Was a great video.

Cost in Australia for the standard is about $200 dollars also.

  • :( I know what you mean....but we don't have marketing team here.....

  • i hate the 1200, i like the coolermaster 932 better. But for a budget or a beginner builder this case is amazing for the price!

  • cheaper then the 1200 :)

interior seems better than the 900/902 aswell

  • Is it full Tower?

And from Newegg what is the price for it?

  • indeed. this case is just amazingly awesome. Lots of room/ventilation. not to mention the cable management is great. though the Mobo mount is not removable, the mobo thumb screws are very easy to use.

Well, along with that, this is a very sleek/quite case. I love mine....

  • Sweet! Seen this video today, picking up the case next week, Great video and great case!

    Thanks!

  • LanCool DragonLord PC-K62 PC Gaming Case support E ATX motherboard or not?

    THX

  • ofcourse it does, but E ATX covers up the cable management holes quite alot

  • thanx a lot computenator

    now im sure

  • On the case box they say it supports ATX and M-ATX but actually every mid-tower case that has atleast some inches of room between normal ATX mobo and hard drive and 3.25 drive bays can fit E-ATX motherboards, they just say that it doesn't because it's not meant to be for E-ATX motherboards cause E-ATX motherboard would cover up the cable management holes, hope this helped you ;)

  • thank you again

  • This case looks nice but the video failed to show behind where the mobo mounts, need to know how much room you have to hide wires.

  • OMFG! Finally! I've been waiting for something like this for ages! its sleek looking like a lian-li, has good ventilation like an antec, and its just the size I've been looking for!

the antec 300 is nice but to small

and the CM Sniper is to big and expensive

But this one seals the gap in between ^^

  • I like this. ima goin to get this instead of the storm sniper. :)

  • Just got one. Don't have the matching hardware yet, but so far, very good. I was worried the fans might be too bright at first, but they aren't. It's really quite comfortable. Be careful when carrying your compy around, though, the cover slips off a little to easily, so make sure to hold it by the bottom of the case. Not a problem, since it's rather light for a steel case, too.

  • Got this case this week, it's the perfect case for my needs.

  • I thinking about buying one, they're on sale now

  • amazing case! im getting one this weekend!

  • Fabulous design and innovation from Lian Li once again. Can't wait for this to be released.

  • WOW, great case and features , value for money

  • Nice case,

Can you tell me if the TOP fans can take a Radiator for a WaterCooling system ??

  • Available in norway at least now :P

  • This is case rocks ! But when will it be buyable in europe?

  • should be available around early August

  • Great I'l be getting one on my Birthday!

  • very good case, with new features like the fans without screws.

A real fight against the Cm Storm Scout.

  • Pure Awsome, Now bring to the land down under

  • Whoa! That's the best slot clamping design I've seen yet! Lian Li/Lancool FTW!!!

  • Very nice case!
