Is the dashboard of the US Kia Optima different compared to the Korean K5 (aside from the km/mph difference) because I much prefer this layout compared to the other one... :P

I believe this is the supervision cluster and will only be on the SX model in the US. Correct me if I'm wrong. The EX I sat in does not have this, it has the 3 circle gauges.

@scottkan357975343 Yes, 1500rpm is normal on initial startup. It's only once the engine has warmed up a bit that the idle rpm decreases. The same thing happens on my 2004 Cerato/Spectra and I assume most other modern cars.

@Ninchiboy While I enjoy my S2000 because it has no features (lol) I want to let you know that my base model (with the convenience package) 2011 lx has bluetooth streaming and hands free calling. Which apparently from what the people I talk to the quality is so good they do not know they are being used in my car..pretty awesome.
