You might have noticed how when you watch an NHL game, there's commcercial-breaks every now and then? Now tell me, wouldn't you prefer to have ads on the jerseys instead of having in game commercial breaks?

To tell you the truth, I'd rather have the commercial breaks instead of blatantly having the ads on the jerseys. It's a separation of the spirit of the game from the economy of the game. And yeah, there are some ads on the ice in NHL games...very few. Those are distracting enough. Those ads in the above video were waaay too distracting.

Plus, without commercial breaks, when else could you make a run to the fridge and get more beer?

Well, another thing you have to keep in mind is that here in Sweden for example, there only lives 9 million people, it'd be impossible to keep up economically without these things, as just broadcasting contracts with such a small audience wouldn't work.
