In maximum movie mode nick moran said that they were gonna do this thing once they caught the trio scabiour would attempt to drag hermione in the woods then ron would intervene and the snatchers would bash the crap outta him.THEN they'd recognize harrys scar.But instead they changed to cut it short to the snatcher saying "there is no vernon dudley, here."I'm not sure if they filmed it.From cute youngwizards in school to murderous and rapist gangs chasing them in the woods. Fantastic part of the film. Right at 0:35 when that haunting drum echo comes in, it immediately sets the intense urgency of the trio's need to escape. And I love how for most of the scene, you just hear them running, out of breath, and the noise from the spells. The light strings building up toward the end of the chase really increases the tension as well. Such a well-done scene. :)

@narayandivya394 they said ron wasn't strong enough to apparate at the beginning of the story, probably mid to late august. this takes place at around easter time in march. ron was all healed by then ; in fact, he was all healed before he left because he apparated away from harry and hermione. true, scabior could've tracked her scent, but they were traveling all over england so it'd be difficult for him. and they wouldnt leave harry, but if they somehow managed to get together, they'd be fine.

@narayandivya394 You're getting that mixed up. Didn't Ron clearly apparate with them from the Lovegood house? When Hermione said "Ron's not strong enough to apparate" it was because he had gotten splinched remember? The reason he got splinched was because when Hermione was apparating from the Ministry of Magic, she wasn't focusing on where to teleport to clear enough. Therefore, he got hurt, and that's why they continued on foot those past days.

@Voelice i'm not entirely sure because this isnt in the book, but im thinking this: they have to be all touching one another to apparate to the same place. if they all just apparated on their own they would have no idea where each other was and they would not be able to communicate, especially because owls are intercepted. if they ran to each other, the snatchers would get them. when running, theyd become a bigger target if they ran to each other. at the end, harry & hermione couldnt leave ron.

Harry would have been left all alone and who knows what might have happened?...

@Voelice i think because if they apparated, the snatchers would just follow them to wherever they apparated to. That's what happened when they apparated away from Xenophilius Lovegood's house, that's how the snatchers found them.

@Voelice In the book they cannot apparate because the Snatchers confiscated their wand before they can do so. The only thing Hermione can do is to cast a stinging jix on Harry's face so they won't recognize them.

The movie is just to add more dilemmatic, don't be fooled by it.
