  • that exhibit was in the twin cities MN...

i went and saw it twice..

it was called "body worlds" or something...

very interesting work that german doctor does...

he went to prison for it back in the 80's...

you can donate your body to his art.

  • the pittsburg video was just awesome.

it is harder to think of the emotion part of it. ah the complexity of the human being.

  • Those exhibits are fascinating! I only saw them on TV, but I'd love to see them for myself...

  • i guess someone's desk is worse than mine..i need to clean out my keyboard drawer it's so full of stuff..

  • im watching the video from the tribune now. at a moral stand point this isnt right, especially if the rumors about prisoners are true. at the same time, looking at it scientifically, its a HUGE step for us, and im sure its helped a lot. as a person who can normally decipher between morality, and science, im still at a loss here. im sure if i were to see this exhibit in person, i would be even more torn.

  • ah well there is nothin quite like a face full of anus:)

  • i luv you sweets :P

  • You and your artistic mind. Creat wonderful things.

  • the girl that was split in three sections was a little creepy, but otherwise, it didn't really seem odd.

Perhaps if I had seen them in real life insted of on video, I would hae gotten a certain vibe from them.

  • Oh trust me, that shit creeped me out big time. It was somewhat on the disgusting side. Someone asked if I saw the body of the pregnant woman who is apparently VERY pregnant that was dissected like the woman in the like 5 sectioned panes of glass...holy fuck that would've been horrible. The eyes...ughhhhhh...

  • p.s. I wonder if serial killers love that museum.

  • P.S. all the eyes should be closed. It is a rule... it should be a rule!!!!!

  • You're wearing a hoodie! No heat flashes right now, cool. And... see the exhibit, that is one reason you are cool.

  • I just watched the vid from the Pittsburg Tribune, amazing. Thanks for the info. Sounds like you had a great weekend. Have a nice creative week.

  • I couldn't have gone to see that exhibit. I would have had the same thoughts you did and it would have really messed with me. I'm sure it was interesting to see but it seems like it would be freaky too. *Shivers* Oh and I'd love a paper bead tut. If you don't have time for that, I'd love to at least see what you have created lately. I loved crafts and seeing what others create. :-)

  • This video reminds me of when I visited the catacombs in Palermo, Italy with my bf. They have like absolutely real corpses on display there. I felt sick really, after seeing those skeletons and rottin corpses on glass coffins! And would you believe it actually COSTS to go see them? Gross LOL

  • the glue on ur hands makes me giggle. when i was little, and in school, i'd get bored and take my elmers glue, and put it all over my hands. let it dry. and peel it off. the little things that entertain us. lol

  • I think that's about the age when I started doing it too. I liked anything that peeled off like a scab! LOL

  • i'd love to see how yo make the paper beads im a craft whore. lol. im addicted, and i admit it. LOL Have i nice day.

    --Jenn

  • I'm slow to get videos put together. I filmed videos on making the beads probably 4 times but trashed the footage each time becasue the lighting was always garbage. I'll get it right one of these days!

  • I think Nutchese would love that museum.

  • JeeprzCreepers56 fuck nutcheese

  • Hey now... Nut's a friend of mine so keep that nastiness to yourself, ok?

  • HA! You're right... Kelley would be all over that grossology exhibit!

  • Holy crap thats a lot of craft stuff. The Urine game?lmao.

  • That exhibit was at the Detroit Science center for almost an entire year, it seemed. While everyone was clamoring to go, I refused to go in. I totally agree with you about the not being put to rest thing. There's something really wrong about the whole thing.

  • It really seems like a human rights issue to me. Some laws pretty much state that a dead person no longer has rights but I SO disagree! It really needs to be stopped.

  • @tushygalore So its ok to make money off bodies turned over by the Chinese police to Premier Exhibitions?

  • then you were in my neck of the woods. i have not been to see that exibit, but would love to . i love the mid america

  • That was my first time at that museum and I enjoyed it completely. I'm hoping that eventually Falcon and I can make a weekend out of being in Hot Springs and go back to the museum... I think he'd enjoy it too (although he wouldn't of gone in to see the bodies with me!) :)

  • yes i have heard of that exibit, i didnt realize they were having one in Hot Springs though... i dont think it would be something i would enjoy... i think that the humanistic side of the bodys would defin. get to me too... i would be to concerned with who they were and how they died than the science perspective.

"anus" scent... sounds disgusting LMAO... yeah i dont think i could have done that without puking my guts out.

    ((hugs))

  • The only good thing I can say about the "anus" scent was that it wasn't super strong... I guess that if I would of inhaled more deeply it would of all seemed much worse. :P

  • What a great Vlog!

  • Sounds intriguing. I'm interested in things like that, but I do think that the fact they were real people would have bothered me a bit too. Oh, and my craft table usually looks like your desk. I recently cleaned it off and I was amazed to see the colour of the table again, haha.

  • My computer and craft table are one in the same. I'm hoping that once I'm moved out and have more than one little room for all my belongings that I'll have a nice ratty old table in the spare room that I can keep cluttered all to hell with my crafting. WOOT!

  • Must have been really odd to spook you like that.

  • Yeah that was what concerned me... all three of us are gutsy and pretty much not afraid of anything supernatural (unless it attacks of) so it was highly unexpected for us to find it creepy.

  • ooh I've heard of that exibit thingy, I'd LOVE to see that, it sounds fascinating!
