  • @ElinaMilan Hi there,

If you give me an email address I will email you an MP3.

  • @phillipsderek my address is: elinamilan.official@gmail.com

  • Lovely lovely! Your rendition is the perfect mix of playful and sweet, and I think the reverb sounds nice too.:)

  • Thankyou! (and Merry Christmas!)

  • That sounded great Derek! Really lovely playing. I don't think the reverb sounded too much at all. Merry Christmas!

  • Thankyou Michelle.

I hope you have a great Christmas.

  • nice

  • Cheers!

Thanks for having a listen, and Merry Christmas!

  • great ! i wish i could play as good as you

All the best for the holiday season.

  • Amazing! LIke I am litening to it in one of those old stone country churches in England. Thanks for that. unique rendition . Ed

  • Thanks Ed!

I Hope you have a great Christmas!

  • Interesting tuning on your concert, Derek. It brightens up the sound markedly. Lovely playing.

  • Thanks Ken,

I think I'll leave this one tuned to A. It makes a nice change.

    All the best for Christmas.

  • Terrific version Derek!

  • Thanks Brad!

    Merry Christmas!

  • Wishing you a very merry christmas Derek :) well played- sounds awesome with the reverb too

  • Ho, ho, ho, Merry Christmas to all the crew at the centre of the melodica universe!

The secret to sounding skillful is to play something simple!

  • Very lovely!

  • Thankyou!

  • Cheers Shane, all the best !

  • lovely playing. happy holidays :)

  • Cheers Shane,

    All the best!

  • Great job, Derek. Your comment, (not your playing) reminded me of Stan Freberg's radio program "Wonderful, wonderful -- turn off the bubble machine" (or was it Freberg's imitation of Elvis, "that's too much echo, turn it off, off , off..

  • Thanks Michael.

I read somewhere that if you can tell that reverb has been added, you've overdone it. This definitely falls into that category.

  • great playing! is that deach in the parachute?

    happy holidays!

  • Cheers Russ!

Whoever it is they don't look too happy about the jump (check his rear end, there seems to have been a little accident!)

  • haha, nice!

  • Pretty spectacular, Derek, even compared to the parachuting Santa.

  • Thanks Bruce,

a parachuting Santa is a hard act to follow.

  • Happy holidays! Very nice!

  • Thankyou!

All the best for the festive season.

  • Awesome job! YEs, very clean playing!

  • Thanks Alan,

I don't have a bunker like you so I had to cheat and add some reverb on this one.

  • Ready for the Christmas album, I think, Derek. P.S., it's me, (D)(O)(N). Happy Holidays!

  • Thanks Don,

I've been wondering about your new channel. I've been planning on having another look to see if you've posted anything there yet.

By the way, I started to show 'Happy in the Rain' to a friend of mine yesterday. Once he has learnt the lyrics we plan to try and record something.

All the best for the holidays.

  • Hope "H in the R" turns out to your satisfaction. I kind of envision it sung through one of those voice trumpets they used in the old days. Anyway, it'll be fun for me to hear.

  • Really nice playing. I wish I could play that clean.

  • Cheers Deach,

    Merry Christmas!

  • Wonderful arrangement and playing!

  • Cheers!

Merry Christmas and thanks for listening.
