  • I think this song was the first piece of music I truly "appreciated," in that it spoke to me without words. It really conveys the loneliness along with the sense of foreboding that awaits anyone the wolf crosses paths with. Brilliant.

I don't think I've played a Tijuana Brass album all the way through since I discovered the Beatles when I was 14, but given how I played them all to death before then, I'll bet my parents still can't stand to listen to them!

  • Awesome memories!!!

  • I copied my dad's Lonely Bull LP onto cassette. This always our crossing the border music when venturing into Baja or Sonora in the 70's or 80's. Well that and several shots of Hornitos.

  • Can you imagine how many kids were concieved when this album was playing?

  • This was our crossing the border song. Those old days in Baja. Oh well.

  • This is my favorite Herb Alpert song.

  • @ErikJohnsonrules Mine, too. By a long way.

  • You know, I did the same thing! I was maybe 7 or 8 Years old, when I stumbled upon Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass, as was in my Dads collection of music. I am 45 Years old and Love TJB, as much as I did when I was a young lad and I did ware the Albums out!

My favorites were, "The Lonely Bull" , "What Now My Love" & iGoing Places!

Brings back fond memories of my childhood! =)

  • I love this album I remember I wore my parents copy out when I was a kid
