They need more recognition this band seriously has such a unique sound and you can really tell they put everything they have into their music. Rock on
I can honestly say after a year and a half of listening, I have a strong emotional connection to this song. I don't say that too often about a song. I love the band and so glad they played it live when I last saw them.
@DestroyerGreat They do that ALOT with their music. You'll hear all kinds of references and riffs you may have heard or thought you heard before throughout many of their songs...I think its sweet.
And yet it's Nickelback hitting platinum sales... Mind you, if Kings of Leon can break the mainstream after usch a long string of success then there's a good chance Gaslight will have its time too.
About a year or two ago, I think I was soul searching late in my college career. Everything was screwed up and I couldn't sleep, and then I heard these guys. I've been relaxed and absolutely blown away ever since.
@GracieJadeMarie Wouldn't call this indie. This is more Alternative Punk Rock. When I think Indie I think Arcade Fire, Death Cab For Cutie, and those kind of bands...not at all the same.
i think this might be there best song besides the obvious angry johnny and the radio ( and i doubt most people no them but these guys kinda sound like marah)
Don't know about that but i've just stuck it on for the first time in maybe a week. Im ill in bed and the lights are off, jesus it made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. Amazing song, probably my favourite gaslight track. Best album ive heard since aha shake heartbreak.
i know man the line"with a flick of a wrist and a turn of a key and you just fall into my arms"mean so much to me man its unreal how a song can have that effect.but i completely agree with you.
Definetely man, that lines very 'Thunder road', kinda makes me think of the lines " and my cars out back if you're ready to take that long walk, from your front portch to my front seat, the doors open but the ride it aint free"
These guys have become my absolute favorite new group. (Okay, so not exactly "new" since they've been around for a few years, but, well, I'm sure you can understand what I mean.)
Awesome *-*

Why would you not like this? ): It makes me upset that even two people would dislike this. It's so pure.
