For me the most memorable song of my fancy free adult life as a young man enjoying life, I am still enjoying my life with my wife now and my 5 yr old son, now I turn 44 in October,
Eric also played guitar on Phil Collins' 1990 song "I Wish It Would Rain Down", which is my FAV Phil Collins song. "Bad Love" is my FAV Clapton song from the 80's. My all time FAV Clapton songs are "Cocaine", "Bad Love" & Tears In Heaven.
I remember the first time I heard this. I was driving in my car. When he changed keys and went into the interlude, I was going crazy....then when he broke into the lead and started hopping octaves....I had to pull over. It was nutzzzz. wow.
Had enough Bad Love!I need somethin I can be proud of! Love this haven't heard it for many years, it's great! Thanks for posting this, you made my day x
uh, whoever the moron was who said hendrix=clapton, clapton=hendrix is retarded, hendrix is comparable with noone and certainly has no equal.Idiotic comment you fool.
Sin duda una gran Alma,su manera de interpretar la musica de blues es solo suya ,marcando un precedente claramente reconocible en todos los guitarristas posteriores,¡CLAPTON IS GOD!
Coolest man behind a Strat, the rest of us just look ridiculous even if we could play better. I speak for myself, no offense intended to those who are cooler and/or play better (yeah, right).
Actually, the bass player is Nathan East (Robert Cray did recorded a song with Clapton in "Journeyman") And yes, that's Greg Philliganes on the keyboard. I was so lucky to see this band live in my country (Uruguay) in 1989.
Es increible que tan poca gente ha visto este vid, esto es historia del rock muchachos, este album marca el regreso de clapton al rock, al menos por un tiempo, gracias por subir este video.
This is rock's A team, Eric on guitar, Phil Collins on drums, Nathan East on bass and Greg Phillanganes on keyboards. It absolutely does not get any better than that.
Greg Phillingaines is not only NOT GAY, he's married with several children and was quite the ladies man before he got married. Just because he's enthusiastic and a showmand doesn't mean he's gay.
Clapton is one of few artists who remained credible during the 1980's, whilst actually producing contemporary "80's" music. And that couldn't have been easy.

Very few people can ware a stasche and not look like a tool, and Clapton isn't one of them. He usually sports a nice beard, or doesn't look bad clean shaven. Glad that was temporary look
Congratulations, mate, you just got me pissing my pants. The comment was spot on. The worst thing is that a friend of mine and I discussed the p0rn 'stache a few days ago,and now I just saw this... The only ones who got it better were the Beastie Boys.:)
Yep, that's Phil Colins. Seriously, he scares me. I kid you not, I have some kind of phobia towards Phil Colins. But otherwise this song is amazing, and so is this video.
Actually, PC was the drummer on this single that is why he appears here. I think he also went on a tour with Eric as his drummer many many years ago. I think it was in the mid 80's
for me, as good as any song he's done, including Layla. have to say though, Journeyman was his last decent album. hope i'm wrong, but can't see eric hitting those heights again
Thank you for this. It was one of my late partners favourite songs
