The timber industry, the drug cartels, and the alcohol companies are the people behind this movement. If marijuana was legalized we wouldn't have to harvest lumber, hemp can be used for paper and rope. If marijuana became legal then the drug cartels would lose 2/3 of their profits and go broke. (thus ending the war on drugs) The alcohol companies would lose profit because they know marijuana is safer then alcohol. Also there is no evidence pertaining that weed kills or that it is habbit forming!

The timber industry, the drug cartels, and the alcohol companies are the people behind this movement. If marijuana was legalized we wouldn't have to harvest lumber, hemp can be used for paper and rope. If marijuana became legal then the drug cartels would lose 2/3 of their profits and go broke. (thus ending the war on drugs) The alcohol companies would lose profit because they know marijuana is safer then alcohol. Also there is no evidence pertaining that weed kills or that it is habbit forming!

well, it can trigger cancer growths just like anything you burn and inhale. but hotdogs have chemicals that can also cause cancer, as the sun can... hell, your body makes hydrogen proxide (spell?) for a few defensive reasons, and that also can cause cancer. Sooo, smoke away, if you get cancer, blame it on hotdogs. or better yet, go buy a vaporizor or make some THC butter and put it in your food. yummy yummy :)

Weed may have negative effects on a persons cognititve abilities btu that doesnt give you the right to call people who smoke it retards. Do you regard rastas as ''retards''? Well I dont believe that Haile Selassie was God or anything but the rastas have a right to their belief. Just like u have the right to freedom of speech everyone has the right to believe what they want and I dont think anyones retarded for doing so. Common misconception, MJ actualy protects braincells (its the "holding your breath part" that can kill em and make you dumber). Like if you were to go out for a night of heavy drinking and smoked before hand, the thc would protect your braincells from the booze, which does kill braincells.

We're born with a set amount and we lose a little every day, but you lose a fuckload more by drinking or smoking weed. Of course, you've already proven that.

Your right nothing protects your brain cells but answer this. What in marijuana kills brain cells? The answer is nothing. PoserBallin is right that the holding your breathe part destroys brain cells. So someone like Michael Phelps loses brain cells from holding his breathe under water, not from taking that bong hit at that one party.
P.S. Holding in the smoke is stupid. THC is all absorbed in your lungs in less then 3 seconds. So hold no more than 5 secs.

yeah but its still fun to have ghosting competitions to see who can hold in the biggest pull the longest sometimes. also youre right about weed being non-lethal, but i found out that if you smoke both tobacco and weed it increases cancer risk 3x than just a tobacco smoker, but weed alone can NOT give you cancer (provided the bud youre smoking isnt laced, preferably high grade thc [less "trash" cannabinoids, chlorophyll, etc])

Lol, good point. Although for the price regular weed is about half the potency but like 1/4 the price.
Smoking weed by itself almost prevents cancer and definitely doesn't cause it. But, like you said, smoking tobacco with it almost cancels it out.
