I have all those things except oxygen, but I didn't have epinephrine before I almost died from the reaction.
I stopped breathing all together and my throat swelled so much the tube became useless.
They stuck a needle in my neck and attached something to it. The doctor said the epinephrine they gave me en route made the swelling go down enough that I didn't have to have the cut made into my throat.
But the epinephrine made me feel like I was going to jump out of my skin.
The really scary part is that I took Benadryl directly after I got stung by a bee, and I still had an intense reaction. It was like I hadn't taken anything at all.
I'd hate to see what it's going to be like if I get stung by a bee and there's no Benadryl around.
I got stung twice by the same wasp and never did find the stinger.
uhh ok i went into anaphylactic shock before , it took less than an hour and i was in need of a doctor .i couldn't think about anything ..... this was more like a what to do if you have am minor allergic reaction ...... not major ...
Does coughing always accompany anaphylaxis or is it just one of the possible symptoms? This question is for anybody to answer. I'd really like to know.
I like this guy, but I gotta tell you there's no WAY I could have written a list of anything when I was having my anaphylactic reaction.
It moved liked grease lightning. By the time the paramedics got there, I was too confused to talk and had hives breaking out everywhere. I couldn't think straight much less write a list.
I had the information written in advance, which surprised the paramedic treating me.
I wrote all that stuff down before I got stung. My reaction happened to fast, I had no time to do anything more than call 911. In fact, I was barely moving air by the time they loaded me in the ambulance and blacked out on the way to the hospital.
The paramedics were surprised I had all the information written down.
Not to be funny, but i don't think if he was having an anaphylactic attack he would have time to write out all those thngs, he would probably be a bit busy trying to stay focused an conscious anyway but apart from that it's good
@bjapan96 Yeah, that's why they invented epipens...

no joke but if he had a vaporizer and some medical cannabis that could have helped as well
it dialates his bronchial tubes so that could have helped him breathe easier
